DRC Application Process

Step 1: Complete Entrance Test Registration

Admission to every UG and PG programme depends on an entrance examination score. UG applicants must use the CUET UG portal, while PG applicants apply through the CUET PG portal. Delhi University must be selected on the form, along with subjects taken or passed in the last qualifying examination.

Step 2: Take the Examination

After submitting the examination form, applicants must appear for CUET on the scheduled date.

Step 3: Enter Preferences on DU CSAS

Students who qualify for the entrance test must register on Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System for DRC seat allotment. The next stage is to arrange college and course choices in order of preference.

Step 4: Participate in Seat Allocation

Delhi University allocates seats over several rounds. The Common Merit List is considered for all applicants. For PG admission, the university also issues a Category 2 Merit List that is limited to students who graduated from Delhi University.

Step 5: Accept and Confirm the Seat

  • After a merit list is released, applicants can sign in to the CSAS dashboard and review any seat offered to them.
  • A student allotted a DRC seat in a round must select the “Accept” option within the stated deadline.
  • DRC then checks the applicant's eligibility and uploaded records before approving the provisional allotment. The seat is confirmed after the admission fee is paid.

Applicants should keep the following records ready for admission:

  • Qualifying examination marksheets
