The Okay Okay College Life

What I Liked

Teachers are Cooperative and good guiders .
Seniors are very supportive and helpful with a good nature .

What I didn’t like

No proper sanitation facilities provided .
Canteen and Cafeteria food are okay okay .

Placement Experience:

I didn't know much about the campus placements but yes the course which i have been studying in the college is very much salary seeking course and could get a decent 9-5 job with good package . So , choose wisely about the course .

Remarks:

I gave CUET on which i was given preferences by Delhi University then i set my preferences according to the ranking of the college and my college was on 16th rank in NIRF data that's why took admission in it .

What I Liked

College infrastructure is very eco friendly and good
The faculty is also very helpfull and provide all types of facilities to the students.

What I didn’t like

I don't like politics in college , my college is very good going.
Infrastructure of my college is good but my campus is little bit small then other colleges. But my campus life is good.

Placement Experience:

The college has seen significant placement success, with around 60% of students getting placed in reputable companies. like amazon Zomato etc. the Highest Package which deshbandhu college provides to their students 35 laks LPA for (Hons) students and if we talk about the Average Package so it's 4-6 LPA for English Honours students and for Lowest Package it's 22,000 per year for some courses.

Remarks:

The NIRF ranking of deshbandhu college is 16th and it's also very famous college of du. The admission process for du college is very difficult now because we have to pass cuet and get good percentage in cuet and on the bases of our cuet marks students gets du colleges

What I Liked

I like at my college campus it's cleanliness....its resources like books from library ... Social engagement ...social welfare ....teaching technique used by professors ....skills improvement societies etc ...

What I didn’t like

There is nothing to explain about its dislikes as my college is well mannered and maintained and the students and facilities are very friendly in nature ..

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria based on the academic performance of the students their achievements and their internship certificates ....almost 60 percent of candidates were placed in the various companies for different posts ... The highest package provides by the companies are 5-6 lakh And the average package provides by the companies - ranges from 1.5 lakh - 3 lakh My plans - I want to give a competitive exams after the completion of my course.

Remarks:

I was selected through CUET UG exams ..based upon my marks I got deshbandhu college... Deshbandhu college, kalkaji is the best among south campus,it has a neat and clean surrounding, the laboratory are well organised... college professor teaching method is best of all ....all professors are highly educated like from IIT , the college is well maintained...and a huge collection of books are available in Library to provide books to students fee of cost for 14 days after that 1 rs fine will be charged for everyday ... Deshbandhu College have a sports campus ...ncc ground...and garden area .. The college provides circular to maintain discipline among students also 75% attendence criteria is also mandatory and followed by students ....there are different society in the college ...which is run by the students itself...for various purposes...there is no kind of ragging in the college...

Deshbandhu : Review by an average student.

What I Liked

I like my College's library the most, as of me it's the best service our college provides.
Secondly I love the sport Archery, as it's my first time witnessing any sports other that famous one's like cricket, soccer, basketball etc.

What I didn’t like

I personally dislike some faculty members due to their arrogant behaviour.
Secondly my college doesn't have an appropriate and open place to organise our annual fests.

Placement Experience:

Honestly there are less chances of getting any placements from my college. I don't know the exact reasons but now I am planning to pursue MBA or any other commerce related courses after my graduation so that I can get any placement easily.

Remarks:

I have given common university entrance test in 2023, and i got this college in first allotment round. This college is closer to my house than others. Also this college is a well known college in our area.

Best Colleges of DU

What I Liked

College library is so well, lots of book available there.
Neat and clean, very well sitting facility, internet etc.

What I didn’t like

College practical equipment is not so good.

Placement Experience:

There are some place available in few course like economics, computer science only. Overall there no more placement available for all courses. Teachers guides how to take placement in different different company. But director college not give any type of placement.

Remarks:

Following are the factors: 1.The quality of education is good. 2.Collefe have 17th position in nirf college ranking. 3.Overall review of college was good in every aspect. 4.Class presentation facility 5 After class teachers always ready for clear doubt. Whether it my possible online or offline. 6.Also there is scholarship facility for bonafide students.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is not active and there is generally no placement and less than 10% students get placement through the college. Moreover most of the courses do not impart skills which are helpful in acquiring a job

Remarks:

The admission process is completely online and teachers are helpful enough to solve all the admission problems whereas the cutoff is generally very high. The cost of admission is not high but the cutoff is high

Both are good in my campus. Sometimes placement fair is conducted by college in which various companies approach students to get enrolled in their job and get the desired income as per their requirements.

Remarks:

Nearer to distance from home and it has the course which I want. For admission I have to gave entrance exam of undergraduate admission of CUET(UG) conducted by national testing agency in India. To get enrolled in various universities participating in NTA entrance test

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ba ( H) economics is one of the best demanding course in today's time and also having a good scope in future that's why I have choosen this course. There were semester end exams after 4 months every time.

Remarks:

I got this college from the basis of cuet exam and got this college randomly. Admission process of this college is totally based of CUET Interence exam score and after score card released you have to fill csas form in delhi University website.

Honest review of Deshbandhu College 2024

What I Liked

Buildings have all facilities and is clean.
Our college is the greenest college. We have good canteen.

What I didn’t like

Campus life is not that good because it doesn't come under main south campus.
Administration is poor. They do everything very late.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunities through the placement cell CYFLE which is active. They provide many workshops and internships also which helps boost our knowledge and experience and skills. Highest package offered was around 6LPA.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it has a good NIRF ranking and NAAC grade . It also has experienced faculty and friendly atmosphere as per seniors. It has a big and beautiful infrastructure with lot of greenery. I gave CUET exam toh come here. I prepared through books and YouTube videos.

Deshbandhu College Reality

What I Liked

The thing that I like about my college is the availability of good professors and infrastructure which is huge. The campus life is very good with different programs being conducted time to time. Many famous personalities visit our college guiding and motivating the students.
The college provides various fun activities such as trip to different places which makes our college life interesting.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the P Block of our college which is very hot during summer season.
The college doesn't has it's own hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is CYFLE which is very active. They conduct many programs and sessions inviting successful personalities to our college and help the students in providing support to the students in their goals.

Remarks:

I got this college in the spot round 2 of DU CSAS. I had given CUET exam for getting into this college. The cut off for this course wasn't high as it doesn't provide an honours degree but if you're preparing for any government exam then this course will give you time and degree which will allow you to give the exam.
