What I Liked

Our head of the department Dr. Eva margret hansdak’ is the best faculty of English. She has been the backbone of many students and motivated us to do better in life
The college campus is very peaceful. It has a positive vibe

What I didn’t like

The office staffs are sometimes missing.
To get any certificates out we students have to run here and there to get our work done

Placement Experience:

A group of private companies are welcomed at the end of the final semester where the students whi wish for job are welcomed for interviews where they get selected. Many students from out batch have qualified the interviews and are well placed

Internships Opportunities:

I haven’t opted for any internship yet. I wished to carry on with my master’s degree after completion of my graduation therefore I haven’t yet gone for any internship. I also do not have any knowledge about the companies that had come for job offer

What I Liked

I like the college campus it is very good and beautiful
I like the canteen area all kind of foods are being prepared

I like everything about my college I don't dislike my college

The eligibility criteria for placement are students should be of gossner college he or she should had scored good marks in ug the highest and average package as per the year is 6 lakh per annum many students get placement

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

What I Liked

College campus is preety good. It's entrance is well defined and beautifully maintained.
Cafeteria has greater area to eat. They provide fresh , Hygienic and tasty food.
Teachers of our faculty are well behaved with the students .

What I didn’t like

Parking area is little bit smaller according to the number of students studying here and the students using their own bike and scooty as a mean of transport.
Our College Office Staf are lazy and slow working. They aren't active at all & are not at all polite to others.

Placement Experience:

College do provide campus placement but very few companies come only 2 or 3. After 6th semester students are aligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree .

Gossner, how it turned out

What I Liked

Behaviour of some of faculty members is more than supporting, they tend to help you in academic and non academic problems.
There are some classes where attending is not mandatory so we can have some catch on time of we wish to do so.

What I didn’t like

The lack of proper management and conduct of fests.
Delay in the shedule of examinations causing us career delays.

Placement Experience:

For the Batchelor of science in physics course there are no current internships or job opportunities that are made aware to us by our campus. There is no assurance of getting a job or internship opportunities after completing this course.

Internships Opportunities:

During my college I have opted for an internship at my contact as there was absolutely no internship or such opportunities provided to us by our college forcing us to even avil internships at our own contacts.

What I Liked

The most important thing I likes about my College was that it is missionary college and the infrastructure is also good.
The campus is almost of 2 acres land in which we have 58 classrooms . The most important thing I like about the college is that it give vibes about the Hogwarts of Harry Potter.

What I didn’t like

The cleanliness if the college is not maintained by the non working staff of the college.
The food quality of the canteen is not so good . I visited my College canteen for the very time but I did not knew that it will become for the last time because I ordered 2 samosa from there I find it very oily so it became first and Last time for me to have something form my College canteen

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement for every student was that every student need to get 70 percent in every semester. Few visit companies were Telco, Amazon, Flipkart,Jindal and Tata. The highest package offered by the company was 15 lakh per annum and the minimum offer was 4 lakh per annum. The percentage of students who got placed was 30 percent. My plan is to business after getting the degree.

Internships Opportunities:

I was working in Flipkart as a customer support service for my internship. I was doing internship from my home town that is Ranchi. The project given to me for The apple company. I use to get 10 phone calls from the customer related to problem they face during the purchase of apple products etc

The review of BBA department of gossner college ranchi

What I Liked

I like the college infrastructure it looks awesome.
I also like my faculty because we have best uniform best timing for classes.

What I didn’t like

In my opinions i disliked about the college is that college has not that much sports areas.
And the some area like library are not well maintained there is not a sufficient lights for study.

Placement Experience:

The few recuirters that visited for placement IS TCS, Zomato and HDFC bank. The highest package is 6LPA and average package 3LPA offered by tcs. the percentage of getting placements of students is 10%. Basically my plan after the degree is go for the MBA .

What I Liked

The most likely thing for personal experience is college environment, and the campus .
And the another most likely thing is after the classes you can chill in the. Canteen and the ground where you can sit and talk with your friends

What I didn’t like

The most dislike thing of the college is parking space there is not that much space for parking vehicle.

Placement Experience:

There is no criteria for the for the placement . The recruiter comes to the they disscus with the students about there intrest and check your profile and after that call will come from the recruiter afterwards .

Internships Opportunities:

From this year the internship has started for the students . And during the internship they are taking you outside like bhubaneswar, Pune , banglore, Mumbai ,delhi . This year we are going odisa for the internship in the KIIT , parleg biscuit company and many more places .

What I Liked

College design is in Japanese theme so I like the college vibe
Teaching staff who pushes us to get job before our degree

What I didn’t like

Boys washroom need a cleanup and upgrade as it smells
College computer lab computers needs upgrade because they work slow and lags

Placement Experience:

There is no placement program run by the college but we have something very much good and better than placement. Why I'm saying better than the placement program because we have something different because you can get jobs in your sem 1 also. My personal experience - When I was in sem 1 I saw our teachers bringing 2-4 people who came to recruit us with a 30000 per month salary. I was shocked what is this for real I'm getting a job. For you to get that Job they prepared a test. After you clear your test you can join them for 6 month internship and after that, you get a job of 40000+ per month salary. The highest package that was offered to a student was around 12-15 lakhs per annum by a local company. I plan to study hard and get a good job before I get a degree.

Internships Opportunities:

I was allowed to go for an internship program that was offering 30000 per month and after the internship which will be around 45000. I rejected that offer because I was seeking something more and I knew I could do better and get a good package. It was a great opportunity for me to grab but I didn't want my studies to be affected by that.

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure and the aesthetic places of the college
also the campus is quite good for students

What I didn’t like

I dislike about the placement as it is happens rarely
Also dislikes that fest and programmes rarely occurs here

Placement Experience:

The placement occurs in the last year of graduation the opportunities are less but it's what it is the good thing is the internship and programs for job seeking are done in months mostly the environment is also good

yes the internship is provided by the college for the students and the stipend is also given with a certificate and also big companies like TCS Wipro and other cos come here to offer placement and internship

Good and bads of my college.

What I Liked

My college have a quite good infrastructure.
Falculty is very helping in all the cases and campus is also good

What I didn’t like

Campus is not that much big like i wanted.
I don't know muchh about all the faculties and we do not have any campis life everyone is busy in there own.

Placement Experience:

College offers placements and internships for BCA students and those are quite good like right we got notified about the internship and there is a program also going to be conducted in the auditorium and placement doesn't go that high rate.

Internships Opportunities:

In my course, there is no internship provided I think coz I have to do a pg in my course or I can do phd right after my degree coz of nep and all. and then I can be a professor or if I practice in hospitals I can be a psychologist too.
