I have choose bcom hons. because I wanna be a proffesor. And I really have deep interest in commerce and economics. The faculty of sivanath sastri college is really supportive,informative and helpful. The proffesors don't rush to complete the syllabus they take time and explain everything single thing without jumping to the next chapter. Notes are given everyday by proffesors . This college has LED flat digital panel board instead of chalk board which is very convenient and helpful. This college doesn't take exams without completing the syllabus. Or by skipping and chapters they take exams when it's needed. The questions are bit tough but is very standard and answerable for all.

There are no placement offers given by college. Most of the students go for higher studies like MBA or Mcom. My plan is to go for higher studies. I haven't contacted with our seniors so I don't specifically know what they are currently doing.

There are placement opportunities for B.com students from TCS mainly. Although few other companies give offers too that is mainly BPO kind of jobs. Sometimes NGOs like Global Links also have a tie-up they provide unpaid internships and then if you get selected you might be hired as well.

This college ensures placement and job opportunities during and after the course. Every student was eligible for placement. Some placement-giving companies are Wipro, TCS, Mahindra Tech, and many more With an average starting annual package of 6-7 lakh 70% of students get placement

I am in 6 th sem we recently had our campassing in . TCS came . We had a session where we were made understand about the job for which we are required to be hired for, where we are made to understand the timming of job , type of job and etc about the job. And we are required to give a test for getting the job
