College in the heart of Ranchi

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good , library is good ,classes are good , lab is good .
Good environment , teachers are cooperative.

What I didn’t like

Uncertainty of the classes , teachers are not fully uses the smart board
There is lack of sport activities in the college

Placement Experience:

Placement are not good here . However some companies came here . Student go for higher studies. TCS is one of the company which comes . Average placement is 20k -30k per month. My plans is for higher studies.

Internships Opportunities:

No , i don't opt for any internship. There is no internship opportunity for us . College is also not active in this field . Student do internship from outside companies but they are paid very little.

Good head start for higher education

What I Liked

Infrastructure of the college is very good as they provide 2 basketball court and football court, also for different events they have a auditorium and a big ground with the stage.
They also provide three canteens in the college one is a big cafeteria and two are called canteens where we can buy whatever you want to eat

What I didn’t like

I don't like that the college doesn't have enough events for students they should have more extra curricular activities so that we can indulge in different activities.
There should be more departmental events so that we can know more about a department and what we are studying

Placement Experience:

There is no placements after completion of my course but I have planned to do masters after completing my course as as were a better job I need to study more and I need to complete my higher education from a better place where I can get a proper placement

Truth about st Xavier

What I Liked

Faculty- As I have mentioned before the faculty is very very helpful
Campus - it really huge and fun to move around

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure - it is a bit old but that’s give the classic look
Food - the food is good yet a bit expensive

Placement Experience:

The placement was also good like many companies came for the placement in college. Even I got selected in TCS. The interview was also very smooth going I didn’t have any trouble while I gave the interview

St. Xavier's college Ranchi pros and cons

What I Liked

The college is located at the centre of the city and area around that is really good. Good exposure
The faculty members are highly intellectual and qualified in their job

What I didn’t like

So it's more of a school because of it's strict rules and regulations which we had to follow

Placement Experience:

The placement is available for some of the commerce department like that of the bba or b com . The other department like that of ba and ma had to manage themselves and opts for competitive exams or any other things

Internships Opportunities:

Intership options are limited in the college so you'll have to arrange it for yourself. The the students of bjmc department opted for different newspapers agencies. They take you for the site visits for your reference.

My personal review on st Xavier college ranchi.

What I Liked

Our department that is geology and the environment in college.
The faculties of every department is so friendly and highly qualified.

What I didn’t like

The rules and regulations are so stricts.
The seventy five criteria of attendances.

Placement Experience:

The st Xavier college ranchi offers placement to very few students like every year 15-20% students got placed with average package of 200000 per annum.Many students opted for higher studies or do private jobs.

Internships Opportunities:

The st Xavier college ranchi offers internships opportunities to thier students from second year.Indian oil,tata coal,steels and many others companies offer internships. In internships like students got field works work.

Must read to take admission in sxc ranchi Or either regret.

What I Liked

I like the campus cafeteria (3 are there) one is large and little bit classy with so many options of eating including continental little expensive and the second one is only for chocolates and little things medium cost and the third one is at good price including some good food stuffs for breakfast so no worries for eating.
College is good with some good friends who made by college life perfect. Infrastructure has nothing to do with my life. Parking stand is also there, common room for girls is there .

What I didn’t like

I dislike that I have to take stairs for 4 th floor in which I get tired the second most thing is that the closure of gates after 10 kons of respective class time that means of u get late for 10 mins then u won't be able to attend the respectice class and no attendance will be given but surely you can go the another class after ringing the bell of next class and opening up the gates.
Some of the non tecahings staffs acts rudely and they need 75% attendance anyhow otherwise u won't be eligible to give exams and will tag u attendance back student therefore u have to give exams along with ur present semester which will be hectic.

Placement Experience:

Bsc zoology do not have any placement or job as it is a degree course. Now I am pursuing msc after that I will be eligible. Other courses like bba, b. Com , vocational have possibility of job with good packages. Good companies come to hire them through interview. Top students of some streams and those who perform good in pi get job with good package.

Internships Opportunities:

Many internship but unpaid were availed by college faculties outside college like in pharma sector.for vocational courses and b. Com bba courses companies like vedanta, tata steel , comes to take excel students

College life And Education

What I Liked

I really like about my college is that their facilities and management are absolutely awesome.
I also like the campus and other services.

What I didn’t like

Sometimes I don't like the co curriculum activities.
I also don't like the teachers availability.

Placement Experience:

The placements after completing degree are good. Students easily get admission or job after the completion of college studying. Above 75 percentage of students gets the placements in job and others field.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opted and available for the students are good. They got the package of masters degree and job easier as compared to others college in jharkhand. The students got help from the college and their management.

All about St. Xavier's college Ranchi

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good and advancement are made with time and facilities are great with very high knowledge and experience. Great teaching method.
Campus life is not too interesting not too boring. The campus is not very big. We have got 3 canteens

What I didn’t like

College campus is small. We don't have space much space for chilling.
Some of the rooms are small. Which is not enough to accommodate whole class strength.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement takes place but not in lagre number as I was informed by my seniors. My plans after graduation is to complete post graduation in masters degree so I'm not stressed about placements.

St Xavier Ranchi review

What I Liked

The most I like about college is the campus life because so many events take are conducted by different clubs of the college .
I also like our faculty because they teaches us in very easy and simple language and also help us and advice us every time. They are so helpful that they also reply to our calls and messages on holidays.

What I didn’t like

First thing I don’t like about my college is that all the classes don’t have a air conditioner because of which it feels very hot.
The second thing I don’t like about u the college is the minimum attendance criteria which is very strict they don’t allow to sit in the exam is the attendance is less than 75% and if there is any medical emergency then also minumum 60% is needed

Placement Experience:

Placement is also very good in this college the top 5% students from every course is sent to the st Xavier college Kolkata campus for being placed and in Ranchi campus also good companies come for the placement.

Internships Opportunities:

No as I am in the first semester of the college so I haven’t opted for any kind of internship yet but I have thought about it and have taken advice from the seniors and also from the teachers they guide us well for the internship
