About the DSATM

What I Liked

Infrastructure , cultural fests , sports meet
Interdepartmental competitions in order to enhance hunger between branches

What I didn’t like

Not quite satisfied about the hostel fee
Not proper indulgence in providing or helping students for enhancing the skills

Placement Experience:

Placements are good over here and as always you can only stand along if you can come out of your comfort zone and then study well in coding and many more as of BE and BTECH graduate these are the must to get placed

Remarks:

Here i have written only KCET exam to get this college and it consists of four subjects actually but to get into an engineering college u need to only focus on mainly 3 out of that four subjects that is Math, physics and chemistry

What I Liked

The surrounding of the college . It is full of green.
There is not much noise and there are many club activities in our college.

What I didn’t like

Our college has many sloped areas and not much to explore.
There is no lift in the hostel which is pretty inconvinient.

Placement Experience:

We should have about 7 Cgpa for the placement entry, almost 40% of the students are placed and the average package is 800000. I have no studing plans after the degree just get the job. No the college does'nt provide any internships and I don't know much about the placement as I am still in 5th semester.

Remarks:

No not any discussions and interview , I joined because this college has been a reputed one and my parents liked it and many of the known people had studied here and it has good average placements also. The admission process was done very well with the help of the admission coordinators and they helped a lot. Aleast one of the qualifing exams has to be written for the seat either KCET or COMEDK.

A Fairy Tale of Girl Graduate .

What I Liked

Amphitheatre ,activity center was great in college and also the library was to good to study and canteen had the best vibe
Canteen offered best north indian food in cheaper price and we use to bunk classses and sit in canteen atleast for few hours and njoy food there.

What I didn’t like

Dress code which i disliked where they used to not allow printed t shirts,slippers etc only shoes were allowed and forced us to wear shoes
College followed strict timings where gates were close after 9 am and u shld get permissions to enter again ,and also girls hostel had strict timings and we were not allowed to roam after 8pm around the campus

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough ,Average package would be 5 lpa and also eligibility criteria is without any backlog and minimum 8 cgpa would save you in any company safe zone .Some companies offers you 7 cgpa also ,but i would recommedn you to have 8 as a safe zone ,You get all good companies with bhg names like Accenture ,L&T ,and TcS and many more .the highest package would br around 21 and average would br around 5 .Almost 80 percent would get placed easily and few will remain same without ang placement these are the ones who have backlogs and never profile with nothing inf their bucket

Remarks:

I choose this college with the rank i have secured.I secured 17k in comedk .As i am an ohtsider the only way to get admission is via comedk or else u have to pay donation and can take management seat .Although no big difference btw management seat and comedk admission almost the fee structure ois same for the bothe admissions .Also there will be no any interviews ,GD .Get fthe cutoff rank and take direct admission via counselling .That is what here the admission process takes place and thats how it works for other colleges in banglore too

Placement Experience:

Placements are better than most colleges as far as I've heard from my friends from other colleges. However it could've been way better. It feels like there's a slight priority given to other campus students as compared to our campus students.

Remarks:

Heard that the Placement in this college was good. This college had a reasonable cut-off making me eligible to apply and get a seat. The ranking of this college was among the top compared to most other colleges.

What I Liked

Our campus is so beautiful. we have a nice amphitheatre. we will sit and enjoy there.
Some of the faculties are so good. They will help to participate in every events which will held in our college

What I didn’t like

Definitely some of the teachers in Electronics and Communication department are so strict.
In our campus canteen food is not so good. Even in the food truck also.

Placement Experience:

I am in third semester currently.Our college has given as various opportunities for interships. Companies like microsoft, ABB ltd, Onsemicondtors. Every year seventy percentage of students will place with a decent package. Highest packege was 45 lpa and minimum average package is 8 lpa.

Remarks:

I have heard a lot about this college that is the reason I selected this college in KCET. I had a personal counselor who helped me to decide my course. I got into Electronics and Communication course with the ranking of 40000 in KCET.

Exploring DSATM to the fullest.

What I Liked

Our college has n number of classrooms. An auditorium, student activity centre, those events. The best part is we have academic events as well as fun events! Teachers also engage with us in those events!
The teaching is great! The campus is vast. Amphitheater is the most loved spot in our college. We have a food truck and a canteen which is unique.

What I didn’t like

We only have one area to play that is the basketball court. It’s quite small.
They rush through the syllabus at times due to lack of time. But not to blame the college, VTU rules must be followed.

Placement Experience:

As far as i have heard from my seniors, our colleges provides great placement opportunities for those who deserve it. Every year a lot of students from various departments get placed for packages above 16-20LPA.

Remarks:

I took a lot of suggestions and then chose this college. It is affordable compared to other colleges. It is really good academically for the fees we’re paying. They had allotted me a counsellor and she helped me out to pick a right course according to my interests. After a lot of discussions and clarifications with the counsellor i decided to join this college.

What I Liked

They are very friendly and jovial. Helps us in everything
College has large spaces . Infrastructure is also best.

What I didn’t like

More qualified teachers. More seminar halls.
Could have made nice washrooms. And good grounds.

Placement Experience:

Cutoffs are there but it might vary this year so we are waiting for the workshops to be done by our teachers to know more about this As the hardware field is increasing might get more opportunities in upcoming days.

Remarks:

I choose this cuz it was near to me in distance also rated one of the best engineering colleges . I was given a written test at the starting of the course . I came through comedk . I prepared well for the cutoffs.

Frankly about DSATM

What I Liked

Faculty is very supportive and friendly. They engage with every student personally and help them in their difficult zones
The overall infrastructure is amazing. The college is located in the outskirts but the infrastructure is very nice.

What I didn’t like

Limited parking space for students and also very narrow taxi zone
The college canteen is very average and there are very limited options.

Placement Experience:

This college has a decent placements compared to other tier 2 colleges. The only thing that should be noted is, you need to maintain an average cgpa of 7.5 over the 4 years, as this is the cutoff for most recruiting companies. There are very good opportunities provided by the management for internships all over India and this helps a lot to develop skills. But the placement opportunity is abundant.

Reviews of the college and feedback from friends and seniors in the college. Also the feedback about the college in other online platforms were very positive. I knew The faculty before i joined this college and interaction with them gave good confidence to join the college.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT DSATM!

What I Liked

The faculties are very nice and approachable and teach properly. The college has a regular feedback system and the management actually heeds the responses of students and takes proper measures to improve student experience.
The college holds fests regularly and encourages student participation in the organization of the events. The crowd in the college is good. Though the campus is not as big as the main campus, it has a lot of seating places where you can sit with peace and under the shade.

What I didn’t like

The college management is not very organised. They don't finish the Syllabus on time and rush it at at end week. Neither do they provide the exam timetable early. They always give the timetable 1-2 days before the exams.
College fests and exam dates have collided due to which exams had to be postponed. The management could do better with proper ways to organize events. Sometimes the preparation starts 2-3 weeks before luke to find sponsors which gets really hard for the people working.
85% attendance is mandatory which is a bit hard to maintain. Hostel food isn't that good according to my friends living in hostel and there is not a lot of delivery platforms like blinkit, swiggy which deliver to the campus since the campus is at the outskirts, on the highway.

Placement Experience:

Since I am in first year I don't know much about the current placements going on. But oncle of our senior had bagged a on campus internship of 8LPA. The average package here is 5-6LPA. the placements are 100%.

Remarks:

The tag of DSI, along with centralized placements with the main campus DSCE made me and my other friends choose this college over any other colleges. The admission process was very smooth got over fast. The admission faculties were friendly and guided you through the process smoothly.

What I Liked

7.5 gpa,in all the semester with no backlogs or arrears and proper language skills and coding and ofcourse the certificate and remaining depends on the type of company and the job role you are applying to

Remarks:

Good aspect are placement and faculty,bad aspects is location admission process through KCET comed K and management Cutoff for KCET is 13000 for CSE and 20000 for other courses.Mo examination is conducted for admission except above.
