Ques. Which qualifications and entrance ranks are accepted for BCREC B.Tech admission?

Ans. For BCREC B.Tech admission in 2024, students had to pass the 10+2 Higher Secondary examination under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent board.

They also needed to qualify through one of these examinations:

  • WBJEE, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination
  • JEE Main, conducted by CBSE and recommended by the WBJEE Board

The regular B.Tech seats were divided in this manner:

  • 80% through WBJEE-qualified applicants
