I choose Textile Technology as it is a good branch with respect to placements as placement record is 100 percent every year as compared to other branches. The professors are also decent. Also there is scope of higher studies like Mtech from IIT Delhi after giving GATE examination.

The college is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University Of Technology (previously known as West Bengal University Of Technology) and follows MAKAUT's curriculum and syllabus. This College is not Autonomous. The faculties are well qualified and possess PHD, but they don't have full control over there respective departments because they have to follow MAKAUT's rules and regulations. There are 4 exams and 2 practical exams in 1 semester (CA1, CA2, CA3, CA4, PCA1, PCA2) CA1 and CA2 are based on PPTs and Presentations, totally depends upon faculties. CA3 is theory exam also conducted by faculties itself but CA4 is conducted by university in online mode in college computers and faculties don't have any control over CA4 marks, similarly PCA1 is conducted by college but PCA2 is conducted in presence of external invigilator by the university

I choose this course because I like it professionally. Faculties are very good, they are well teached, they are ships of knowledge, they are very helpfull There are ca1, ca2, ca3, ca4 and a final written test for each semister It is no too difficult

Textile and apm course is the main highlight of this college, our academic is average but infrastructure is very bad , but faculties are very frank and well behaviour, the help us through our knowledge building and practical works

For Informal Technology, there are very good and modern lab rooms. The faculties are very efficient. They are very helpful and friendly with students. There are a total of 8 semesters in 4 years. 2 sem in every year.

If you have at least 60 % marks then you have to apply for the Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship also your family income is less than at least 1 lakh and then you have to pay your fees in the college and with your admission receipt and marks sheet you have to apply this.

Many scholarships are available. Total fees for btech Information Technology is Rs 106000. We can pay the fees in installments also any time within the course period. Faculty members are very good and well-educated. They always help us in our studies.

As per we all know market of computer science and engineering is growing broadly day by day . So there is a chance of a very high and prosperous career. If you have an enough rank to choose cse as your subject them blindly go for it. Coming to the college is undoubtedly one of the best engineering colleges in West Bengal. The location is also very good not an off-route at all. All the staff (teaching, non-teaching)are very helpful and well-behaved. Every lecture room has an AC, projector, and a inbuilt Mike desk. Teachers use projectors and boards for teaching purposes. How Every teacher explains all the subjects are so interesting to listen to. There are several types of scholarship but the most popular is SVMCM where students get 60000 rs per year the criteria is they at least have to score 60%in semester exams

The course curriculum is comprehensive and the faculty is highly qualified, using effective teaching methods. I chose this course due to my interest and its career prospects. Exams are timely and moderately difficult. The fee hikes are moderate and pre-announced, making the cost of study reasonable. The college also offers various merit- and need-based scholarships to assist students financially.
