- The campus of the college is not that much big.
- The college ground is small. It's become worst when the grasses are not cut timely.
Remarks :
To gain admission to this college, you need to pass the WBJEE exam with good marks. Each year, the cut-off for general candidates is around 7k-8k. After finishing 12th grade, I gave the WBJEE and achieved a 11k rank in the SC quota, which allowed me to get into this college despite my high rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is comprehensive and the faculty is highly qualified, using effective teaching methods. I chose this course due to my interest and its career prospects. Exams are timely and moderately difficult. The fee hikes are moderate and pre-announced, making the cost of study reasonable. The college also offers various merit- and need-based scholarships to assist students financially.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities at our college are not that good for CS, IT students but for TT, APM its mandatory, with companies like Trident, Raymond, and Arvind Limited. Some internships provide stipends. But for CS, IT you have to try yourself for interships.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities at our college are moderate, with some reputable companies visiting annually. Recruiters like Trident, Raymond for TT and APM, and TCS, Infosys for CS and IT have participated, offering the highest package of 11 lpa and average package of 3.5-4 lpa.
Campus Life :
Campus life is vibrant, balancing academics and social activities well. Numerous clubs and societies cater to diverse interests, supported by modern infrastructure. The annual fest, Texavision, occurs in January, featuring cultural, technical, and sports events. The library is well-stocked with books and journals, and classrooms are equipped with boards and projectors where needed. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, with excellent facilities available. Student-run clubs and an online platform foster community engagement. Hostel life is positive, with decent food quality and a varied menu. If renting, the surrounding locality is safe and convenient, with easy access to amenities.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
