There have option for taking a scholarship. There is no extra cost to be submitted for the course. Faculties are also helpful and always available even if call. Most of all faculties are doctorate. I had always had a mind set to join in any of the core departments so I chose it. There was a semester exam after 6 months, at MAKAUT university.

I chose the course of Computer Science and Engineering because nowadays we are surrounded by technology all around. So I thought to contribute to this field by learning about it by holding a degree. The faculties are P holders and some have masters in their respective fields. There are internal exams that are called CA which are taken every 1 month after starting of the semester and ends before 1 month of the Semester examination. For example, if a semester starts in January then the CA-1 will be on the first week of February and CA-2 on the first week of March and so on CA-4 will be on the first week of May. Semester exams are in June. There is a fixed rate for fees that is 6000 per semester for Computer Science students and Others 3000 per semester. All the scholarships that are given are by the state government or any other scholarship that someone opts for.

Our college is under MAKAUT (Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University Of Technology) The faculty is good, the Teaching staff is good, with a nice qualification. Teachers qualify such as M.Tech and Ph.D. The college fees a also low as it is a Government College. We get Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship Exam (SVMCM) which is Rs. 60,000 per year.

Our college is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology formerly known as the West Bengal University of Technology. So all the exams are conducted by the university. The faculties are not too good at teaching us new technologies, however, some teachers teach very well.

According to my WBJEE I got the college with Electrical Engineering department. Qualification of the faculties are good but teaching methods of many teacher is very poor and behaviour with students are not so good . But there are some good teachers also. Semester exams are taken in duration of 6 months according to MAKAUT university syllabus. As this is a Government college so fees are minimal and affordable. There ample number of scholarships are available like SVMCM,OASIS etc.

Course Curriculum: A well designed curriculum is designed to shape the knowledge and skill of the students. Academics: the academic rigor of the program is challenging every student too learn more and provide opportunity for project ideas. Faculty: Faculties are highly qualified and experienced in teaching a student in a college. Term exams are taken twice in a year and difficulty level is set to such that it challenges every student. Cost to study is not too high and to be availed by every student. Various scholarships like SVMCM , OASIS are offered from our college.
