The placement is very good for the textile technology department. But for the other branches, the placement is the bare minimum. For instance, 5-6 students are placed out of 45 in my course that use CSE. The highest package placement offered is 30lpa by a Taiwanese company Young Optics. The average package is 4-5 lpa 30-40 per of students are getting placed.

I haven't applied for any internship yet, but my Friends have done an internship, One of my classmates Graduated from the Google Women Engineers Program this year. Our alumni are working in good companies and some are working in very nice startups, Our Alumni from other departments especially from Textile Textile are working in very big companies and some of them are the owners of their own companies. Our Principal/OIC Dr Anindya Ghosh is an alumni of our college he secured a rank of AIR 1 in GATE

The all over placement scenario is not good at all. In this current days, our college is passing through bad times. We all hope that this situation will be changed in one or two years. Currently, our college's placement is being run by a third-party consultancy company.

Placement and JOb opportunities are provided by the college through various kind of campusing. MNCs like COgnizant, TCS recruit mass in every year with a minimum package of 6 lakhs. Highest package has went off to 22 lakhs per annum and the average salary is 7 lakhs per annum and job profiles like senior developer to junior developer is offered. Almost 95% students get their placement from the college. I plan to master in my stream after getting the degree.
