TNEA Cut-off and Selection

For CSE, the closing TNEA rank in 2025 was 16,373. Civil and Automobile have wider cut-off ranges. Each year's applicant pool affects the closing rank, which also differs by branch and category.

Anna University fills the TNEA share of seats using Class 12 PCM cut-off marks without an entrance test. Allotment is based on these marks, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics scores weighted equally.

Each Class 12 PCM subject is marked out of 100. The TNEA cut-off has a maximum of 200: Physics and Chemistry together contribute 100, while Mathematics contributes 100. Applicants must register separately on tneaonline.org and include KCE among their college preferences.
