Kongu Engineering College admission 2024 will soon start on the official website of the university. Kongu Engineering College offers BE, B.Tech, and B.Sc at the undergraduate level, and ME, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, and MCA at the PG level. The selection process for such courses is based on a number of entrance examinations; candidates must register for the relevant entrance examination; application forms are available on their website.

Candidates to the B.E. or BTech course must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as required subjects.
B.E. and BTech admissions will be based on performance in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Exam (TNEA).
M.E. and M.Tech admissions will be based on GATE/TANCET scores, as well as a group discussion and personal interview.
Bachelor's degree holders in relevant subjects are eligible for admission to M.E., M.Tech., MBA, and MCA PG courses.
Enrollment in MBA and MCA courses will be determined by MAT/TANCET scores, followed by group discussion and personal interview.

What I Liked

I like the college infrastructure and campus
They are a beautiful lab setup for effective learning

What I didn’t like

The college timings is 8.45am to 4.30pm
The watchman are always angry with you when you want to go to other departments

Remarks:

I choose this college because it is under top 200 engineering college in India and this college is nearer to my home so that it is very convenient for me.Therebis no interview or GD process for admission in these college we can join only through government quota or management quota.

Kongu engineering college - The adulthood journéy

What I Liked

I love the campus infrastructure as it is huge and greeny, great group of facilities in all the departments and campus life of 4 years were vast and nice. The memories together with everyone still holds in everyone.

What I didn’t like

There is clearly nothing to be disliked in college

Remarks:

12th board exam cut off is necessary for admission. The cutoff mark indicates to choose which stream is applicable for the students. An average cut off is enough for food technology, chemical engineering, but rather a more high cut off is necessary for ECE.

What I Liked

I especially like placements in the college.
I especially like the hostel life in the college

What I didn’t like

Discomfort during laboratory hours and free hours.
Faculties not think about the students knowledge.

Remarks:

I didn't face any Group discussions and interviews for admission The good aspect is average placements and bad aspects will be strict behaviour between students and faculties and staffs Two types of admission process ,one is counselling through cut-off and another one is management. There is no rounds for me.

What I Liked

The college I liked the most about is that there are the first year student when see the first year all the first year students are in the same block called science and humanities that block all the first year students are there the chances of collaboration with the other departments where high and we develop a friendship with those guys of the other departments and it is very helpfull for us in the way when we participate in the competition and for the academic projects and some other projects they will help us when it the concepts for us is the output of box from our deyconcepts
The college has the cafeteria and the shops for the stationary and the xerox and some other things the cafeteria palya a major role in the snacks part that is the cafeteria supply the snacks all over the each and every department the advantage from that is the cafeteria is located only the middle of the college that is very distance from some other departments including my department and they supply snacks for each and every department through the workers we by those snacks from our own department itself and we not want to go to the cafeteria to get the snacks

What I didn’t like

The next dislike in our college is that they are very strict when comes to first year and very liberal when it comes to final year.There the partiality exists.That is the dress code in our college is very strict all students must wear proper dress code otherwise they are punishable.This only in our first year days and few days of the second and third year and total liberal in the final year thaat is very worst . We want to follow the rules and regulations very correctly and college also wants to look into that even if they are final year or the first year
The next dislike in our college for both hostel students and the day scholars are they want to travel long distance when it comes to day scholars they want to travel nearly 1-1.5 in the evening to reach out to bus that differs between departments and there is the same for the hostellers who where inthe college hostel also in the long distance they didn't have any kind transport for that the students need to go by their own .also that is the time where college finished the students must be inthe situations to use the road for reaching one point of the college to another point of the college therevare bikes and cars are in the road leads to accident and traffic in the road same for the hostellers

Remarks:

The college I get this by through my counselling process conducted by the TNEA. that is Tamilnadu government association for engineering they conducted a counselling based on our marks and we will be allocated with the course and the college by through this method initially I get the course of EEE in the college of kongu Engineering college and later in this counselling process there is a option called upward movement through that I get the course of btech artificial intelligence and machine learning.The admission process they asked me to fill only applications and to submit my certificates for verification and no any other tests or examinations

I have joined this college by discussing with the family and got some ideas. Then I have visited the college once then I liked the environment. It was well suited for me. Then as my brother studied in this college I got ideas from him also.

The main factor is for placement and for management there is no interview or written tests for the admissions.There was no cut-off,GD/PI etc for admission purposes.the college is helping student when the students face difficulties it reflects in good aspects view of the college

What I Liked

Hostel rooms are good and i have wifi facilities and gym facilities
Campus is too good and have ground to play volleyball.

What I didn’t like

Need to walk long for department and must wear ID card and only formals are allowed
Faculty teaching is moderate you have to learn from online.so that only you can learn extra skills

Remarks:

I have a good cut off. I have got 555.59 in the 12 th exam.so that I have get a good cut off and i have applied through counselling of Tamil Nadu. At the I got seat in Kongu Engineering college in Artificial intelligence and machine learning course.

What I Liked

The things I do like about the college infrastructure was here we have more sufficient for we need any emergency we can get it easily That much much sufficient shop and things are provided
The sports and activities are provided ,we have much good relationship between student and staff

What I didn’t like

The things I didn't like was the paper correction was little strict
The things I didn't like was the distance that may cover far away from the hostal,if we had to go out there is no facility to outting

The factory that made you choose this college has good placement The good aspect of my college has good campus surrounding and provide good placement For my course artificial intelligence machine learning has more scope in future My cutoff is not enough for it so I joined through management

What I Liked
