GMRIT Rajam offers admission to B.Tech and M.Tech programs in multiple specializations. GMRIT admission is done on the basis of entrance exams such as AP EAMCET and AP PGECET. It offers full-time 4 years B.Tech program in 8 different specializations namely- Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Power Engineering and M.Tech program in 7 disciplines.   • BTech Admission is granted only through AP EAMCET exam followed by counselling. To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech program, candidates must have passed class 12th in science stream with physics, chemistry, mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects with minimum of 50% marks.
  • GMRIT Rajam also offers admission to lateral entry course. For admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry course, candidates must hold a Diploma/ B.Sc degree in the relevant discipline. Candidates are selected for admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course on the basis of AP ECET ie, Engineering Common Entrance Test conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
  • MTech Admission is granted on the basis of scores secured in GATE / AP PGCET exam. Candidates applying for M.Tech courses should hold a BE/B. Tech degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
