Yeah! I did my internship during my third year of my btech I did my intern in Larson and Tubro, Hyderabad branch I did my internship for about 1 month it helps a lot to get the field knowledge as civil is a non-IT field you have to acquire some field knowledge it'll helps to do that

I have completed an internship at Oil and gas corporation (ONGC) Rajumundry asset in the directional drilling field and I didn't get any stipend for that internship. There is a project for the final year and I have done my project in the aspect of horizontal water flooding.

There are no internship opportunities provided inside the college. The internships are given by other companies to the students on our campus. One of which I did was Trontech Labs. And also some other companies take interns through interviews.

The placements are main drawback. Only L&T and TCS visit the campus. No placement support. You need to search for jobs after MTech. But outside you had great chance to join as facility member. You will get good pay because of the university mark. You need to do internships but you need to search for them. The private colleges had better placements then this college. If you join this college they will treat you as future faculty.
