What I Liked

The labs are well equipped with instruments and good teaching.
Mess food quality is good and price is reasonable.

What I didn’t like

Hostel maintenance must be improved slightly.
Roads are flooded with water if it's rains heavily.

Placement Experience:

Placements are regularly done by the companies in the final year semester onwards. Big companies like TATA consultancy services Wipro Larsen and turbo virtusa Zoho vedanta gas limited Deloitte reliance cyient etc visited our campus for hiring students. Highest package is 15 lakhs per annum and lowest package is 3 lakhs per annum. Nearly 60 percent of the students get t.

Remarks:

I got admission in this college by Andhra Pradesh eamcet examination and got seat in this course by online counseling method. No group discussion or interview is required. Good aspects like faculty, campus environment, placements are liked by me. I prepared for this exam from my intermediate College itself.

What I Liked

Labs are very well equipped. They help to improve our practicals knowledge.
Academic faculty is good. They teach well and doubts are cleared

What I didn’t like

Hostel facility must be slightly improved like cleaning etc.
Roads are flooded if it rains heavily. They make the campus surroundings messy.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are held regularly by top IT companies and MNC companies. Companies like TATA consultancy services Wipro Larsen and turbo Virtusa Zoho Vedanta Gas Company Bhagya Nagar Gas Limited Deloitte Reliance Virtusa Cyient etc visited our campus. The placement percentage is nearly 60 percent. The highest package offered in 2021 is 14 lakhs per annum by Vedanta gas limited. The average package is around 4 lakhs per annum. I got placed in Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Remarks:

I got a seat in this college through the Andhra Pradesh eamcet examination and got a seat in this stream of Mechanical Engineering through an online counseling method. Good aspects like top-notch faculty and experienced professors are available here. They help students to improve their knowledge. To get admission here you must get the minimum cut-off marks. I prepared for this eamcet examination during my 12th board examination.

What I Liked

Good facilities in the college campus and regular lab sessions are held.
No pressure is applied on the students. They clear doubts with patience.

What I didn’t like

Hostel maintenance must be improved like cleaning etc.
Roads are flooded if it rains heavily. It must be improved with maintenance

Placement Experience:

Placements are regularly done by the top MNC companies and IT companies every year. Last year Wipro Larsen and turbo Virtusa Zoho Vedanta gas company Bhagya Nagar Gas Limited Deloitte reliance Virtusa Zoho and many more companies visited our campus. The highest package is 14 lakhs per annum and 3.5 is the least package. Nearly 60 per cent of students get placed.

Remarks:

I got this seat at JNTUK Kakinada University through the EAMCET examination. Online counselling methods for the students will be done. There are many good aspects of this college. It helps us to improve our practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. I prepared for the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET examination and got a seat in this college in the stream of Mechanical engineering.

Review for UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING KAKINADA

What I Liked

Firstly campus life, it's basically a government university but everything is good about our college you'll get decent hostels and good food and a nice stadium and a good seniors and our college is ragging free it'll give you a nice experience
Now coming to hostel life it'll be a funny Rollercoaster ride for four years you'll get to know about your life and you'll get to know how to behave and all the basic competitive world stuff

What I didn’t like

There's pros and cons about any thing the Cons about this college is you'll be free bird Noone will take care about you it's like a good for nothing college you are responsible for yourself
And placements need to improve better and the faculty should be attentive towards students that's lacking in this JNTU basically it's common in any government university but it'll be good if they change

Placement Experience:

I got placed in L&T with a package of 7.5 lacs and I think that's better for a btech civil engineering pass out student cuz you won't be getting that high paying job with btech so I think a job of 7.5 lacs is a good option

Remarks:

I entered this college through the AP eamcet by securing about 85 marks and with a rank of 7200 it's quite easy to get into this university as it's a state government exam you have to focus on basics while you are going for an exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have r23 regulations for our batch. Our regulation Is so tough but we need to manage it somehow. The faculty is so good in terms of teaching. The faculty for the petroleum branch is not well experienced because our branch is not older than the college.

Remarks:

I love the college so much that I joined this college even though I did not like my branch so much. My rank is too high to get into this college with decent courses. Bot I like the petroleum branch now.

What I Liked

Campus environment is the most liked thing for everyone in this college
Second most liked thing is the infrastructure of the college we'll maintained neatness

What I didn’t like

Faculty is not friendly and mostly not having good communication skill
Exams results are mostly delayed every time

Placement Experience:

So many companies have come to our colleges and even I have been placed in TCS, cognizant, and Accenture. The highest package for our batch is 32LPA and most of the students get placed but with low packages like 3.25, 4, and 4.5LPA. Being a petroleum engineer I'm not interested in software field so I decided to wait for the petroleum field jobs

Remarks:

JNTUK is the main branch of Andra Pradesh engineering colleges, so I chose this college and having good faculty and environment, to achieve this college I prepared for the EAMCET exam and I attempted well. I secured the 18564 rank, the counseling process started and I'm fully passionate about the petroleum course in that point of view there are only two colleges in Andra Pradesh that have petroleum engineering courses so I chose this college and got a seat in the counseling process. This exam is based on intermediate math physics and chemistry

Affordable college with wonderful life lessons

What I Liked

Very affordable college and also good learning experience
The fests and events are conducted which gives good experience and also knowledge.

What I didn’t like

The placements are of somewhat average package. High packages are not available.
In campus internships and clubs are not there.

Placement Experience:

There are no eligibility criteria for placements from the college side. Only according to the company's criteria, every student is given the opportunity. The main recruiters are L&T, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Galaxy, United Online, Schneider, etc..

Remarks:

This university is very prestigious and not everyone gets a seat in this college. The top rankers from the EAMCET exam are given a chance to get into this college. The cutoff changes year to year but if we get a good rank in EAMCET there are chances to get a seat in this college in any branch. My EAMCET preparation is totally from the textbooks and previous year's question papers.

The genuine review of Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University Kakinada

What I Liked

The university Environment was very good. It is located in kakinada city.
Freedom you can freely go anywhere no one ask why you are not in class.

What I didn’t like

No one care about you the university just need money. It is just like private college.
The Teaching was not good. The teachers are outdated they don't know the technology.
No gap between exams. Every day you had exams.
R23 Regulation was very bad. No scoop for scoring.
No hostel facility for boys. No one help you related to this.

Placement Experience:

The placements are main drawback. Only L&T and TCS visit the campus. No placement support. You need to search for jobs after MTech. But outside you had great chance to join as facility member. You will get good pay because of the university mark. You need to do internships but you need to search for them. The private colleges had better placements then this college. If you join this college they will treat you as future faculty.

Remarks:

I have join this college by writing a state level Entry test that is APPGECET. In first Counciling I have joined in Andhra university. Then in second Counciling changed to JNTUK. Coming to good aspects : 1) The location was very good. 2) The college campus looks good. Rest of everything were bad 1) No hostal facility for boys. 2) The new R23 regulation was bad. 3) Teaching was bad. 4) labs are bad. 5) No gap between exams. The sem ends in 1week. 6) No scoop to learn new things. 7) No scoop to prepare for competitive exams.
