Good social life with good classmates classrooms are average group activities are entertaining good cadets to learn about and mingle with .Can have lots of friends if we are social and even introverts makes lots of freinds in our campus

Hostel timing is till 9:30 pm There will pt from mon to sat at 6:15 to 7:00 in the morning There is freedom inside the hostel Overall it is a bit strict as part of improving discipline in life of cadets as it is necessary in this field

Don't get your hopes too high as the department does not entertain much of cultural backgrounds and other extracurricular activities. Students should find their way to cultural interests and other entertainments. College authorities won't be providing you with textbooks, as they are available in the library. Amenities in the classroom are not very efficient. The seats and tables are pathetically maintained. When it comes to the hostel, the hostel rules are very strict with punctuality and discipline. The mandatory physical training is a part of this career which is carried out by the hostel wardens. The approach of wardens towards the students is very disrespectful even though they are retired army officials. They seem to peep into your personal life and privacy which is very extremely irritating. They also unleash their grudge on you. The food quality is above average with traditional foods and friendly staff.

discipline is very important in this course and you cant expect a lot of programmes. But this is under CUSAT, We can attend programmes conducted by other departments. Few programmes are conducted by the college itself. The library is provided in the college and you can also access to university library which is near the college hostel. Sports is a crucial part of this course, every morning you need to attend a physical training. There is also a sports team for the university, if you are talented you can be a part of that. Various groups and clubs are there to enhance your skills. NSS provide services to society and makes the students socially committed. You don't need to find another hostel as this a residential course you will allotted a room in the college hostel.

The life at campus is adjustable ans just comfort. The images which I uploaded is of the 2022 December Christmas celebration There are generally AFL books required to complete the studies of the portions in the syllabus.

Sargam art fest which is conducted around june, july time. Intersem which is held between 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th years.There are also media group in which students can learn editing, poster making, video editing etc. And in the evening there are games like cricket, football, volleyball etc.

Various fest are conducted in the college, one of the main fest is sargam , and various colleges compete for this event , it is usually conducted by June or July . The availability of books and journals are less in the Library classroom contains projectors and blackboard also students are seated on chairs and tables . Kurukshetra is one the main sports fest ,here many colleges compete to win the prize , and sports like intersem are also conducted inside the campus by the students . Extracurricular activities are not there in the campus. Social groups and clubs are less

Seasonal fest are held such as onam, Christmas ,diwali eid iftar etc. Sargam is our official arts competition fest where all the departments from our university competes for the win . Kurukshetra is a sports competition for the whole university which same as sargam. Inside the campus intersem which is a sports competition between each years of our college is held in each year as new Juniors enters and seniors passed out. There is a website named kunjali marakkar school of marine engineering where you can have the details of fee structure and more.we also get swimming class during weekends here

The campus life is well and good .there are fests conducted in this university in about every two months.One of the fest's name is SARGAM which is basicaly the university's art's fest in which every institution under it would celebrate with competitive programs which would give thrill and excitement along with competitiveness to get the overall trophy ????.Overall it is fun .now the college library is there and is filled with Marine related articles and books that is required for course. The college is also supporting various sports activities including badminton,throwball , cricket , football ,basketball , volleyball ,chess carooms and other indoor games like table tennis ,efootball etc .There is a NSS group which is maintained which is doing various socialised improvement to both the country and world.there is a college magazine which is fully developed by the students particularly third years

The hostel Life is very boring. we want to enter the hostel before 9.30 but the other hostellers on our campus don't have any timing they can any anywhere at any time, if there are any events outside we are not allowed to participate after 9.30 otherwise we want to get prior permission from the University, the main events are sargam(arts festival of the University), kurukshetra (sports meet of the University),propulso (our department's college day), like this many events are conducted by different colleges, hostels, and departments in our university. they don't give any books we can take books from the library after use we want to give back the book. There is NSS(National Service Scheme)and anybody can join it. also, there is an electrical, sports, and art club. the management supports sports and arts very well. we have a separate team for the University sports. the hostel is very good there are 3 beds in each room for three members, there is also 3 fan and 3 cupboard in each room the food quality is average.
