Life at IIIT Dharwad

Remarks:

The sole reason I chose this college was that it was IIIT. I had to give JEE Mains for the admission, after that cutoff came for each category, and then finally seat allocation procedure began, in which I got Data Science and AI branch in this college as per my JEE rank

LIFE AT IIIT DHARWAD

What I Liked

There is no restriction for hostel entry one can roam whole night in campus without any issue.
New infrastructures of building giving it a good look
Some faculty member treat us like their own brother

What I didn’t like

The mess food of the hostel is so bad. Sometimes there is no other option than skipping it.
There is no sports facility for sports enthusiasts like grounds, equipment etc.

Remarks:

As a JEE Aspirant, I also saw dreams of IIT and not of IIIT. Yes, my preparation went wrong due to some reason and couldn't get into any college other than state government college. At start of my engineering I used to regret my decision but now not at all....

faaster than the college building

What I Liked

faculty teaching is quite good ...infra structure is not that much good...but u can say okay
hostel accomodation is of 4 people in one room till your graduation .....so you cant get any privacy

What I didn’t like

college campus , college life is boring worst campus life....no girls ...no girlfriends
bhai abhi bhi bol raha hu....bahut chutiya college hai...mat hi lo

Remarks:

it is an institute of national importance as i was a dropper, so i could not afford to drop one more year.thats why i take this college. admission is through JEE Mains general - 95 above percentile SC - 85 above percentile ST - 75 above percentile I have just practiced PYQs and thats it . more than enough

Reality about IIIT DHARWAD

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good and it is located away from city give students a good atmosphere. Faculty are very friendly.
Have a good campus life one can experience and develop any skills have to develop .

What I didn’t like

Insfracture can be improved compared to other iiits .
Campus life can be great if we include more organised function .

Remarks:

I didnt choose this college but i got it from from my rank cuttoff . You have to attend jee mains exam and clear it , there are no other ways to enter this college . I have took coching from from 11th to 12th standard for jee exam

THE TRUTH OF IIIT DHARWAD LIES HERE!

What I Liked

About the infrastructure, the campus feels huge and well equipped with all the facilities.
Campus life is not as much, the city is very far away and if we want to visit town we have to take lift many times

What I didn’t like

Its location as mentioned is away form the town and its quite difficult for us to navigate

i was a neet aspirant who also applied for Jee examination. i cleared jee but not neet so here i am doing engineering now. i scored 598 in my neet and 95.48%tile in jee mains, but due to the conspiracy of nta in neet i was not able to get the medicine collage, i had jee as a bcakup and hence i am doing engineering

What I Liked

Infrastructure is good. Faculty is also great .
Campus Life is good I mean average because of the less students.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure can be improved . Hostel food quality can be improved .
Could have been more functions for students to enjoy more .

Remarks:

Well one have to clear jee mains exams to get admission in this college . The cuttoff varies for different students based on the category they belong . I have took two years of training to prepare jee mains.

Awesome and wonderful experience

What I Liked

College director mahadeva parsanna sir address directly to student and look into every problems that student faces. He is very kind and supportive and amazing campus and beautiful campus.

What I didn’t like

College hostel for first year is out of college campus. And everything else is very good.

Remarks:

Location of college near by city dharwad. Climate is like monsoon throughout the year. And college is still growing and company for for placement. College is still under construction and it will be complete in two years for first one year they will stay out of college campus in sana hostel. But after 2 years college promise that there will be permanent hostel inside the campus. Cutoff for cse is 70k. Online class by motion lecture.

The college:-my second home

What I Liked

I love most about the enviroment that college is providing us. They support you in which field you want to grow.
college is still in building process the infrastructure will come with the time.

What I didn’t like

The main problem with this college is it is far distance from the main city.
There is a limitation on wi-fi usage. you can not se more then 15gb a day. If want then you have to take permission.

Remarks:

I have choose this college on the basic of my jee mains rank and college placement.I was talking to a seniors from linkedin and got to know about the college and read reviewed on internet. That help me to choose the college.

A Complete overview of IIIT Dharwad

What I Liked

Green campus with a pleasant atmosphere to study.
Diversity of different people, cultures from different regions of india.

What I didn’t like

High fees for both college, Mess and hostel
Attendance is strictly followed (85%) for each semester

Remarks:

There are quite many factors for choosing college, mainly due to a college of national importance. I got around 95 percentile in Jee main 2023, and eligibility for this admission are +75% in 12th grade.
