CMR University Courses and Fees

MBA Technology Management has a higher fee than the standard MBA because it follows a specialised industry-linked curriculum. Within B.Tech, CSE with AI/ML has the highest fee and remains a preferred branch. Allied health courses such as BMRIT and B.Optom at the City Campus attract students from the medical and health science applicant pool in central Bengaluru.

CMR University Admission Process

CMR University admits most B.Tech students through KCET for Karnataka-domicile candidates. Other applicants can use COMED-K or CMRU CET. For management courses, students apply through state PGCET or accepted national and university-level entrance tests.

B.Tech Admission

B.Tech seats at CMR University are mainly filled through KCET for Karnataka students. Management quota and non-Karnataka applicants can apply through COMED-K or CMRU CET.

BBA, B.Com, Law, and Allied Health Admission

BBA and B.Com admission is done through CMRU CET or direct merit-based application. Law applicants can use CLAT or CMRU CET. For allied health programmes such as BMRIT and B.Optom, admission is through state-level health science entrance tests or the university CET, and students must have 10+2 Biology as the base requirement.

CMR University Placements

CMR University works with more than 200 recruiters and has a wider recruiter network of 327 organisations. In 2024-25, the highest CTC was INR 18 LPA for an engineering student. The MBA highest package was INR 12.5 LPA, and the MBA average package was INR 8 LPA. Eligible MBA and MCA students receive 100% placement assistance.

CMR University Campus and Infrastructure

The Lakeside Campus on Rustam Bagh Main Road is the main engineering campus and houses the School of Engineering and Technology. B.Tech students at HRBR Layout may use technical labs and engineering faculty support at the Lakeside Campus.

Hostel facilities are available at both campuses for men and women. The yearly hostel fee ranges from INR 1.41 Lakhs to INR 1.91 Lakhs. Campus facilities include smart classrooms, computer labs, a library, seminar halls, and a student activity centre. The NAAC A grade inspection covered infrastructure across campuses.

The university holds ISO certifications in quality, food safety, information security, and environmental management in 2024.
