BASLP Admission 2023 is based on the merit or entrance exam. Some colleges accept the NEET UG, IPU CET, and MET score. For merit-based admission one should have completed the 12th exam or equivalent exam from a recognized board with minimum marks criteria of 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology and 45% for reserved criteria. The minimum age limit is 17 years for appearing in the entrance exams.
NEET 2023 will be conducted on 7 May 2023. Some of the colleges offering BASLP courses are AIIMS Delhi, CMC Vellore, Helen Keller's Institute of speech and hearing, all India institute of speech and hearing, Mysore, etc.

BASLP Admission 2023: Eligibility
The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled for taking admission in the desired institute :
- A candidate must have completed 10+2 with physics, chemistry and biology/mathematics/cs or any other subject with minimum 50 % marks (45% for reserved candidates).
- The minimum age limit for applying for this course is 17 and the maximum varies from 26-30 from institute to institute.
- The candidate must have cleared the cutoff for the entrance exam conducted by the institute.

BASLP Admission 2023: Selection Criteria
The selection criteria for BASLP may include written/online tests, and personal interview concerning the college/university/deemed to be the university you have opted for.

BASLP Admission 2023: How to Apply?
The following procedure must be carefully followed, starting from filling out the online application form to admission :
- Check for updates regarding the application form on the official website of colleges offering the course.
- Once the form is open, fill out the application form very carefully for admission.
- After filling the application form, the registration form is filled in which the document needs to be uploaded. The documents which should be uploaded are-
- passport size photograph
- scanned signature
- scanned picture of application form.
- Marksheet of 12th class.
- Reservation id if any.
Upload all these documents very carefully, because the registration fee is non-refundable in any situation.
- Complete the payment of registration fee.
- Download your admit card for the exam.
- Prepare well for the exam, on examination day make all your preparation, don’t forget to carry your admit card with you.
- Shortlist the colleges by considering your rank, after the declaration of results.
- Candidates will be finally admitted on the basis of a counselling procedure.

Ques. Is it necessary to have biology intermediate for opting BASLP course?
Ans. No, only biology is not necessary. For admission to BASLP, one should have chemistry and physics as a compulsory subject and the third subject can be mathematics or biology, and the students with CS as a third subject can also apply for this course.
Ques. What are the job opportunities for BSPL?
Ans. A fresh graduate can expect a salary of about 3-4 lakhs per annum. After doing BSLP from any reputed college, you can work in a government hospital, and also in a private setup. You can also work on an independent research project setup, where you can build endless opportunities.
Ques. Is NEET UG required for BASLP?
Ans. No, NEET is not necessary for taking admission in BASLP. These courses are mainly offered by government and private colleges that conduct their admission procedure and entrance exam. And the admission procedure can vary from college to college, they can be completely different from each other. Some colleges give admission based on the 12th mark obtained.
