FPM is a four-year Doctoral program. Fellow Program in Management (FPM) is a residential program that offers Management programs in various specializations. This research program can be pursued by candidates with a PG degree in any stream. Candidates with M.tech, MCA, MBA, MA, M.Sc, and M.Com can apply for FPM admission. Candidates pursuing professional courses like CA, CA, and ICWA are also eligible to apply for FPM admission. Candidates with an MBBS degree and an LLB degree can also pursue FPM.
Candidates must crack the Management entrance examinations like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and ATMA to apply for FPM admission. Candidates with valid GMAT and GRE scores are also eligible for FPM admission. Reputed B-schools like Xavierès and IIMs conduct their own entrance examination for FPM admission. Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) 2025 admission in most B Schools would be offered based on CAT score. The annual fees are usually between INR 2,00,000 and INR 13,00,000.

FPM Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring for FPM admission must meet the following criteria:
- A postgraduate degree with 55% (50% for SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks in relevant discipline from a recognized university and at least 60% aggregate marks in graduation.
- Candidates with B.Tech degrees must have secured 60% (10% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) aggregate marks and must have work experience of at least 2 years.
- Candidates with 55% aggregate marks in M.Sc, M.Com, M.A, M.B.A., and M.Tech are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates holding professional qualifications namely, C.A., ICWA, and C.S. with 50% aggregate marks are also eligible to apply.
FPM Application Process 2025
CAT, GMAT, and GRE are some of the entrance examinations whose merit is accepted for FPM admission across all B Schools. Below are the required steps for FPM admission.
- Visit the official website and download the application.
- Candidates must register for the entrance examination.
- Once registered, candidates will receive a registration ID and password over their registered mail ID.
- Candidates should log in to their profile and fill in their personal, and academic information and details of the entrance examination test center.
- Candidates must pay the application fee through debit/ credit card or net banking.
- Once payment is completed, candidates should submit their application form and take a printout of the application for future reference.

FPM Admission 2025 Selection Criteria
FPM admission would consist of three phases- Written examination, individual presentation, and personal interview. Though most top B Schools adhere to this policy, some prefer to conduct their own entrances without considering scores obtained by candidates in popular entrance examinations. CAT, CMAT, GRE, etc. The cut-off for final selection in popular entrances varies from one institute to another.
Written Examination- Most of the entrance examinations for FPM admission are conducted online. These consist of objective-type questions from Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation and are to be completed within a specified time.
Candidates who have secured marks above the cut-off score will be called for the next round. Based on the cutoff score, candidates can apply for admission at their desired college. Depending on the number of applications and scores, colleges invite candidates for the next round.
Personal Presentation- In this round candidate has to give a PowerPoint presentation for 15 minutes in front of a panel of experts on their submitted research proposal.
Personal Interview- A personal presentation is followed by an interview round where a panel of experts evaluates a candidate’s personality and passion for research.
Final Selection- The final selection of candidates is based on performance in all three rounds and the requirements of the academic area for which the candidate has applied.
Merit List- The final merit list is prepared Category-wise and Academic Area-wise based on performance in the personal interview round and the Admissions Committee grants provisional admission.
Selected candidates can then accept admission offers from their institute of choice and make payment for admission to confirm the admission.

FPM Admission 2025 How to Apply?
The following are the steps to be followed for FPM admission in various institutes.
- Candidates with merit in the entrance examinations must register with the institute for FPM admission.
- Every institute publishes a list of candidates called for group discussion and interviews based on entrance exam scores.
