Your CLAT PG 2027 allotted venue will appear on the hall ticket. A city preference in the application is not the same as a confirmed examination-centre address. The test is scheduled for 6 December 2026.

Eligible PwD candidates have an examination window of 2 PM to 4:40 PM. Reporting time, entry instructions and the allotted address must be read from the issued hall ticket; the 2 PM test start is not a reporting-time instruction.

Hall Ticket and Allotted Venue

The Consortium states that candidates download the hall ticket by logging into their CLAT account. Use the account created for the 2027 application, not an older scorecard login or an application for another programme.

When the download opens, check that the document belongs to the PG paper and the correct candidate. Read the venue name and full address together: two institutions can have similar names, and a city label alone does not identify the entry gate.

The application process uses the registered mobile number and password after OTP validation. A saved registration form or fee receipt does not replace the issued admit card.

The regular duration is two hours. The additional-time window applies to eligible PwD candidates; it is not an automatic extension for every candidate who arrives late. The PG pattern guide explains the 120-question paper.

City Preference and Centre Changes

The current public PG instructions do not provide a confirmed city-by-city list or a numerical limit for city preferences. Use the choices actually offered by the CLAT 2027 form. Older lists headed 2025 should not be treated as the current allocation list.

The Convenor may cancel or change a test city or centre because of unforeseen circumstances or too few or too many candidates at a centre, and may shift applicants elsewhere. A preference therefore does not guarantee that venue.

There is no published promise in these instructions that a candidate can independently change an allotted centre after the hall ticket is issued. Contact the CLAT office about an error; do not travel to a different centre merely because it was a higher preference.

Check the Hall Ticket Before Travel

Keep the downloaded file accessible and take the printout required by the examination instructions. Do not rely on an older article's permitted-ID, stationery or bag-storage list: those details belong to the current exam-day instructions.

If travel crosses cities, plan around the allotted address, not the nearest NLU. The examining venue need not be the university where you eventually seek admission.

For a name, photograph or category discrepancy, retain the submitted application and the affected hall ticket when contacting support. A message reporting the issue does not itself authorise an alteration or a different venue.

Keep the qualification and category requirements separate from download access. Being able to print a hall ticket does not prove that university admission documents have been approved.

Hall Ticket and Centre Questions

Can I go to a preferred centre instead of the allotted one?+

No allocation right follows from a preference. Attend the venue on the issued hall ticket unless the organiser formally changes it. A travel booking or an earlier preference does not authorise a different centre.

Does the two-hour test start when I enter the room?+

No. The published regular examination window is 2 PM to 4 PM. It is not a personal two-hour timer starting at arrival. Follow the separate reporting and gate instructions on the current hall ticket.

Is the application confirmation enough to enter the exam?+

It is a record of application, not the hall ticket. Download the issued admit card and follow its identity-document and entry instructions. Payment confirmation alone does not identify the allocated venue.

Can I assume the 2025 city list is unchanged?+

No. Test-city availability and allocation can change. Use the options in the 2027 form and the final hall-ticket address, not an older city table relabelled with the new year.
