CLAT PG 2019 question-paper PDFs are available below. Four sets are listed separately so the booklet and answer numbering can be matched.
The 2019 paper includes descriptive questions; the published 2027 test has 120 objective questions and no essay section.
Three original questions on a fictional rule, aligned to current legal-reading skills. Not official 2019 questions or a full CLAT mock. Results show accuracy for this set.
Choose your answers, then submit the set.
A fictional university rule requires written reasons before a research grant is withdrawn. In an urgent safety case, payment may be suspended immediately, but written reasons must be sent within 11 days. An appeal may be filed within ten days after those reasons are received. The appeal body may examine whether the rule was followed; it cannot replace the grant policy with a policy it prefers. These are invented rules for this reading exercise, not rules of an actual university.
| Area | Question focus |
|---|---|
| Constitutional Law | Parliament, constitutional amendments and institutions |
| Public International Law | Human-rights instruments and institutions |
| Torts | Defences, negligence and remoteness |
| Descriptive Part B | Contemporary constitutional and legal issues |
| Check | Use |
|---|---|
| Year | Keep historical paper rules with the paper |
| Booklet | Match the code and question text, not just the number |
| Key | Use the final applicable revision, not an earlier appended table |
| Short-set maximum | Include every question in the set, including unanswered questions |
Example: 18 correct and six wrong in a thirty-question set = 16.5/30 under +1/-0.25 marking.
A booklet set is a version of the same year's examination, not automatically an independent paper. Match questions and set codes before treating another set as fresh practice. Repeated questions should not inflate the amount of unseen material attempted.
Keep its mark in the score, but review it separately from an answer you could explain. Identify the sentence or legal rule that supports the correct option, then check why your closest alternative fails. If the question turns on an exception, write down the condition that activates it. This separates a reliable answer from a lucky choice without changing the marking scheme.
For the historical question, preserve the wording and the legal setting described in the passage. Separately revise current law for the upcoming examination. Editing an old question to use a newer statute can change its premise and make its original key inapplicable.
No. It is an original exercise about a fictional university rule, written to practise identifying a rule, exception, time trigger and limit on a reviewing body. It is not an official PYQ or legal advice.
No. It reports correct, wrong and unanswered responses and accuracy for three selected questions. The set does not cover the full syllabus or compare performance with other candidates.
The retry contains only the incorrect and unanswered questions from that attempt and uses that smaller denominator. Restart restores the full set. Changing an answer clears the old result so it is not displayed as a score for the revised choices.
