CLAT PG 2025 registration last date extended to October 22, 2024, for UG and PG law courses. Candidates must register online on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2025. Read News Here
CLAT registration started on July 15, 2024. Previously, the last date to register was October 15, 2024.
The exam will be conducted on December 1, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Candidates from the PWD category will get 40 minutes extra to attempt the exam.
CLAT PG 2027 registration closes on 31 October 2026 at 11:59 PM. The form opened on 3 August. Complete the online form, pay the fee and finish submission through the CLAT 2027 account.
Choose the PG programme for LLM admission. Programme, category and BPL fields lock after submission and payment, so these choices need to be right before the form is finalised.

An LLB or equivalent with 50% marks is required; SC/ST/PwD candidates need 45%. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in 2027 may apply and must provide passing evidence at admission. The eligibility guide explains nationality and category exceptions.
CLAT PG Application Fee
Category / charge
Amount
General / OBC / NRI
INR 4,000
SC / ST / BPL / PwD
INR 3,500
Optional previous-year papers
INR 500 extra
Bank transaction charge
Additional; shown at payment
The fee is paid online and is non-refundable and non-adjustable. The optional previous-year paper charge is not included in either base fee. For example, a General-category applicant who chooses the paper package pays INR 4,500 before the bank charge; without it, the base fee is INR 4,000.
BPL applicants have a fee concession, but that label alone does not confer the 45% LLB threshold. Do not change academic eligibility to match a payment category.

The 2027 instructions specify PDF format for documents/certificates. Follow the field-specific upload controls for the photograph and signature; no unverified file-size limit is needed to complete this guide.
Enter the candidate and parent names as they appear in certificates, marksheets and identity proof. The mobile number and email should belong to the applicant and remain accessible because the mobile number is used for account validation and login.
Keep original certificates for the allotted university. Uploading a file at registration does not replace the originals or other evidence requested at admission.
How to Complete the PG Application
Open the CLAT 2027 registration page on consortiumofnlus.ac.in and register with a personal mobile number and email.
Validate the mobile number with the OTP and sign in using that number and the chosen password.
Choose PG, enter the qualifying-law-degree and personal details, and select the applicable category accurately.
Upload the relevant files and enter the preferences offered by the form.
Review the programme, category and BPL entries before paying, then complete final submission.
Save the submitted form and payment acknowledgement together.
A payment debit and a completed application are different records. If the bank shows a debit but the form remains incomplete, inspect the account status and keep the transaction reference for support. Do not assume a second form will repair the first automatically.

Do not rely on a future correction window to fix the programme choice. A candidate who needs help with a locked detail should contact the CLAT office with the application information; this is not a promised entitlement to a correction.
After registration, the hall ticket will be issued through the same account. Its release date is separate from the application deadline. The admit-card guide explains the download and examination details.

CLAT PG Application Form FAQs
Payment and Submission
Is the INR 500 previous-paper purchase compulsory?+
It is separate from the application fee. The published base fee is INR 4,000 or INR 3,500 according to category; buying previous papers adds INR 500. Bank transaction charges are additional.
Can I switch from UG to PG after paying?+
The programme cannot be changed once the application is submitted and paid. Selecting UG for an LLM application is not corrected by choosing law subjects elsewhere in the form. Contact the CLAT office about the specific application rather than assuming the field will reopen.
Will a second application refund the first fee?+
No. When more than one form is submitted, only the latest online application is considered, and the fees for earlier forms are not refunded. A duplicate application is therefore not a cost-free correction method.
Do I need my final LLB result to register?+
Not if you are appearing for the qualifying examination in 2027. You can apply on that basis, but passing evidence and the required marks must be established at admission. Registration is not an exemption from completing the LLB.
