- I think as a government college the fees should be low
- Except fees and job opportunities it's the perfect college
Remarks :
This college is located at prime location in Kolkata. So anyone can come from anywhere. There are no entrance exam for admission. If you have minimum 85% at boards exam. You will be selected for admission cut off. This is the process of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Geography as a Hons. Subject because I want to clarify myself with this subject. There are 2 huge classrooms, 1 lab and 1 office romm available for geography department. The teachers and professors of our department are very helpful for us to learn more about this subject. There are so many opportunities to do better. Every month a exam is taken as a revised study.
Internships Opportunities :
There is a availability of internship for students. This is compalsary for students to do intership because it carries 50 marks. The intership is organised by private authorities. The internship is not paid internship. Few tasks of 15 days to complete assignment and submission.
Placement Experience :
There are no availability of job placement because it's a general degree college. So there are no options for students to get job opportunities. I am studying hard to achieve more degree to get a job of teacher. It's my goal
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for per semester is same for any student ( General, Sc,st,obc). The fees is taken on every semester. Every B.Sc. course has same fees. The scholarship facility is available for students who scored atleast 60% in a year. Scholarship for B.Sc. students - 18000, B.A students - 12000. This is the fees and scholarship structure of Vivekananda College, Kolkata
Campus Life :
Vivekananda College has its own playground, auditorium, sports facilities. Every season a big program is organised by our college. There are availability of indoor sports like table tennis, carrom available. There is a general library is available for students with many varieties of syllabus and social books. One website is available for students and teachers for everything like admission, notice , report, study etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There are no hostels facility available for Vivekananda College, Kolkata. That's why you should stay at hostels or pg rooms around the college. There are Easy availability for rooms for students. Thank you

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
