Remarks :
There are many factors for me to get into this particular college because this is one of the finest government college to study about this statistics honours. I got in this college through government merit system.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is a 4 years bachelors with integrated masters . The teachers of our faculty are really friendly and they are really helpful about all the class works and assignments. All the other faculties are also same according to me & students are also helpful to each other.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes we've done summer internship by one of the chief authorities of chittaranjan hospital , I hope there will be another internship this year and the internship is free so we don't get any stipend . we learned to take information and data's from different households and give them a better suggestion by doing data analysis of the information we have already taken through this internships.
Placement Experience :
Basically there are no placements after the bachelors course , You can only get placements after masters or PHD . But there are internships to follow by which you can gain some experience and expertise about your course. The degree I have been doing has a great future after masters more than 90% placements are made after the masters .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is very reasonable at this point , because there are many facilities in this fees structure including library , access of all buildings , assignments & classes . there are also gym & common room facilities in this structure.
Campus Life :
Rather than studies , exams and assignments we also live a social life in our college , not only that people can follow their passion through out thus college like singing, dancing, music , art and all. The campus is really good also the canteen & the atmosphere is very friendly .
Hostel Facilities :
There are several paying guest room in the college areas only for boys or only for girls . You can also live in the college hostel which is really affordable . you can also rent a apartment if you're with some friends and then you can split the rent amount in those friends.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
