My experience about my current college. (Asansol Engineering College)
Remarks :
I have chosen BCA from this college because before admission I heard that Asansol engineering college was good. And there most students got placed with good packages. After that, I got admission to this college and at the time of admission, the accountant said that the tuition fee was 270000 but after some days it was something about 320000 and the teachers are good but some teachers are very bad because they only come and take attendance and didn't see that who are focusing or not they only do their work and go. In the college canteen is average food is also good, and the campus is awesome. But there is missing in sports equipment many things are not here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course Bachelor Of Computer Application (BCA) because from starting my interest in computers, gaming, bug fixing, etc. From starting my dream was to become a software engineer.
Placement Experience :
Campus jobs are very good many companies come to the college. The minimum package was 6 lakh per annum which was really . The infrastructure of Asansol Engineering College is very good and there are separate buildings for every department.
Campus Life :
Campus life is beyond the infrastructural and academic training program. It gives students with ones in a lifetime opportunity to live through the experience. And the hostel is good but I see that the mess of the college is very bad didn't give the very tasty yah it's average. In college, many students take part in hardware groups and I see many of them making very interesting things like robots, motor buggies, and many other things.

Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
