Remarks :
Since I decided to do BCA during my graduation so I have selected JISCE without any other preference as it was near my hometown & also we can avail different mode of transportation to reach college as well. If you want to do BCA or BBA you don't need to give any interviews or written tests for admission. Yes for B.tech courses you need to give entrance exams which held every year.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I have interest in coding & want to develop something new with my knowledge & skills ,so I have chosen this course and the faculties were all highly qualified who makes you understand & helps you solving problem if you have any doubt regarding any topics. You also can do reseraches by taking help of your department faculties as well. The exams were held every 6 months (Odd semester helds during the month of December & internal exams were held during october.) (Even semester helds during the month of June or July as per the schedule & internals were held during the month of Mar-April). If you don't study then the difficulty level of exam will be high & if you do concentrate or study your topics then it will be easy for you guys.
Internships Opportunities :
You can join any startups to complete your internships depends on your stream & background. As you know the prices & packages change every time so it depends. You can select the project or domain which you want to get trained & research about the companies who provides to give you an opportunity to work with.
Placement Experience :
Different companies come with different packages & their requirements. If you fullfill all their needs & if you are confident enough to crack interviews then I think you can get a great package as well. Working hard will pay you.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
When I was studying the semester wise fees is Rs 30,000 which is yearly Rs 60,000. A full package of nearly Rs 3,00,000 for 3 years. The exam fees was Rs 1000 as per my knowledge. I don't have any idea about the fees structure of quotas like SC, ST. It will be same for all students. You can avail or apply for student credit card scheme as our college is eligible for it. The syllabus as per MAKAUT has been changed so there are new subjects & programs which you can get from MAKAUT site or JISCE site.
Campus Life :
Every year a Tech Fest were held at our college which named as JISTECH where many college students takes part in various innovations & present their models as well. Many programs like drawing, games, coding challenges & many more were held during this time. The canteen is the space where you can hangout as well also there are many clubs where you can join & take part in various activities.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
