Remarks :
This college has that much fame that I read this college in my class 10 syllabus ( WBBSE). Thus I really wanted to take admission in this college. This college's study facility is so good that anyone can be convinced to go to that college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm doing B.A.Honours in English and Literature subject. Our college has 5 professors for English department. Our HOD is Prof. Ashish Sahu. We have 5 periods for each day. Each period is for 45 minutes.
Internships Opportunities :
They didn't gave any kind of internship, they only teach us about literature and takes exam in 4 months gap. They just gives a sh*t about politics and who is leading the rally for TMCP. Who will lick the foot of college GS and YP.
Placement Experience :
They didn't mentioned any placements or job during the course. Because it is not a professional course, it is a general college for doing graduation. After graduation we have to do whatever we can, the college will not give a sh*t about us.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Very good for study. The college has a aura in political place, also this college is brilliant in sports like cricket,soccer, kabaddi,chess, table tennis, carrom, quiz etc. It also has hostel facility for backward class students. Teachers are so professional and student union is very strong. I'm paying the yearly fees 6060/-( including everything except exam fee or enrollment fee) and the college's university also takes more fees like enrollment fee and exam fee 382- and supple fee 500/- . This fee structure is only for literature students,like bengali and english. The other department fee is larger amount than language subjects.
Campus Life :
Our fest name is Umang. But after joining the college we didn't had any fest like that but we had small fests like "Winter Carnival", "Lalon theke Lenon" etc. by the way we make our own fest of department during the freshers or farewell party.
Hostel Facilities :
I never had opted for any kind of hostel facility. Because the hostel of this college is situated in joka which is very far from our college. If I stayed here,I had to get ready atleast 4hours before attending college. In this way going eveyday college is impossible andit will be very troubling to reach college in perfect time during exam.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
