Actually there are several factor that made me to chose this college like the environment of Jhargram , large campus area and me personally wants to choose a college which is far from my home. And there are no group discussions or interviews or written test for admission.
Actually from beginning i want to be a doctor and help patients. our curriculum is completely clinical and diagnosis based. That helps us to so much to deal with different type of patients . We have a huge academic building with every department in it. Our faculties and approachable and we could talk to them freely with any problem.
Actually i haven’t opted for any internship. As i told every student have to do internship after final year. This is compulsory for everyone. And we have to work in our medical college under our doctors.
Our college provides internships for over 6 months after completion our course. It is available for every student infact everyone have to do this internship. Government will pay us around ?30-?35k per month during internship.
We have to pay ?6000 per year as a course fee. There are no cautions fees but there is a bond of ?100000 for discontinuing course. There are no other fees in our college. There are no category divisions for fees, everyone have to pay same . There are no college scholarship but we could feel the SVMCM and MCM scholarships under West Bengal government.
Our college is new . We are the first batch of our college. As fur we haven’t organised any fest ,but there is a planning for it very soon. We have only annual event of freshers named AAGMON. As fur now there are no club activities or website run by us, but we have some social media page.
Yeah, I am a hosteller. After getting admission when we come our college first day, we have to fill a form for hostel allotment. Those students with long distance are more preferred for hostel. One one room we lived three students. They provide bed, chair, table, almirah for every student. And there are enough space for living.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
