- All faculties are good in nature. They help us in all problems in study.
- Campus is large and friendly. Senior and junior relationship is good.
Dislikes
- Library is quite small. Sufficient books are not present.
- Construction work is going on so dust present.
Remarks :
On the basis of my marks I got this college. I always want to be a doctor and after cracking neet I got this college. I didn't face any group discussion, interviews. But I gave all india neet exam. For admission you have to secure rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our college is good though construction work is going on. There are sufficient faculties present in every department. All the facilities we need for mbbs is present here but the library work is not completed yet so it's a small library.
Internships Opportunities :
After completion of our degree we have to complete our internship. Stipend is given during internship. Around 30000 is given to us during internship. We get many opportunities to learn our works in hospital.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement. After completing of our degree we have to complete our internship. After getting degree we can do job in hospital if we can crack interview. As it's a not a engineering college so company's offer.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In 1st year we paid 8000 and in 2nd year we have to give 6000. Scholarships are available on the basis of your eligibility. Personally as I am a general category student I didn't receive any scholarship.
Campus Life :
Every year freshers program happens. Our library work not completed yet so books available there is very less in number. Sports and extracurricular activities occur in regular time interval. There is a student union present here.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a hosteler. Canteen is quite good, every varieties of food are available here. Drinking water is also available. Registration process for hostel is as per NMC curriculum. Around the college anyone can get room or pg.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
