I have choosen this college through wbjee rank as my rank is low and not only the rank I have this college in my second choice as it's very close to my home and it has a great faculty environment that's why I choose this
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to its comprehensive curriculum, emphasis on Computer sciences and basically managing huge data base, and reputation for producing well-rounded professionals. The course aligned with my career goals and provided opportunities for growth and development.

No, I have not opted for any internship. Although my college offers various internship opportunities, I chose to focus on my academic coursework and extracurricular activities during my study period. Internship Opportunities Available:
Placement Experience :
As I am a fresher in this college I really don't know the reality of the placements but as such I get to know about the current year placement there are about 150-200 student are still unemployed but as for my opinion we have to work hard on our skills for the jobs and as the competition increasing its very difficult for a person to get a job nowadays
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For the annual fees in btech that's 4 lakh 79 thousand 500 around and for each semester that's around 55 thousand approximately including library books, tution fees, and all stuffs not including the registration fees before sem exams
Campus Life :
Social life is very good as the environment is very good for me very friendly environment on the freshers here the faculty was also good as for me and a much safer environment for girls and also health management too
Hostel Facilities :
No, I have not opted for a hostel. Since I commute from home or reside in off-campus accommodation, I did not require hostel facilities. And hostel for boys is 10min away from the main campus and the girls hostel are in this campus

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
