- Labs of the college are great. They are air conditioned and got computers with great specs
- The basketball court is great. The court is full concrete and got a good view of the campus
Dislikes
- Mainly the cafeteria. It serves good food but it is veg only
- The library is good but you have to go through a card checking process before entering it.
Remarks :
I heard about the college through my friends and also went to see the college after wbjee. I talked with many previous seniors of that college too. All suggested about the college. Admission was very much easy as there is a whole team who help to do the admission process. The reception and staffs are friendly. It took around 2hrs to complete the whole admission process
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our syllabus is autonomous so the syllabus is mainly based on indistry requirements of that year. Most of the faculty are well qualified with atleast a masters degree. The fee hike will not happen. The amount given on the brochure is the amount need to be paid nothing extra. Students can apply and get svmcm scholarship . Also other private scholarship facilities are also available
Internships Opportunities :
I have not still. But most of the internships want atleast two projects to see a student has worked on. Most of the internships are free. Some paid internships are offered to students having a good grip of programming and good leetcode score.
Placement Experience :
Internships are mainly offered outside of the college. Placements are offered within college and eligibility is selected based on performance in academics. Our department has the highest rate of placement. All of the students got job offers previous year.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great. We got a common room, gym, cafeteria, basketball ground, football ground all on the campus. Library is well maintained with lots of books within and outside of the syllabus. Two sports competition happen. One is risers club sports and another is annual sports. Hostel provide good food but veg only. Pg is within 500 metres of the college

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
