- Mess food is disgusting. And it's a vegetarian mess.
Remarks :
There are many factors like it's affordable than any other private colleges. And it is a autonomous college so, it's course curriculum is more advanced. I passed wbjee exam and based on this rank i joined this college through wbjee counseling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i want to learn new technology. Most of the teachers are above 15+ years experience. And having PhD degree. And teaching method is good. There are 2 semester exam in a year and the level of difficulty is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
College don't provide internship. Students find off campus internship. I also getting a off campus internship by oasis infobyte as a web developer. Project is based on web development and mentioning a website.
Placement Experience :
There are no eligibility criteria set by college. If company set any criteria then college applicable it. Many companies like TCS, cognizant, Infosys, tech Mahindra etc. companies visited campus 400+ offer made. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa. In tech branch 90%+ students are placed where core branch 70%+ are placed. My plan after getting the degree is getting a job through campus placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission time 66000 and every approximate 90000 fees. And if your 12th board percentage more than 60% and you maintain 6.75 CGPA in every semester then West Bengal government provide you yearly 60000 scholarship for 4 years.
Campus Life :
In a year one cultural fest and one tech fest held in month of January. A library having 1 lakh+ books and journals are available there. Most of the classrooms are smart classroom. Sports facilities is limited in this campus but every sports organized in this campus. Many clubs are by students.
Hostel Facilities :
Two boys and one girls hostel in this college. Girls hostel is in the campus where boys hostel is outside the campus. Hostel is easily available. In locality some pg and rented rooms are available but in limited seats.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
