- College infrastructure is not much better because of not availablity of ground but in terms of practical laboratory all course are available with the laboratories. College is ragging free.
- Faculties are very highly qualified and educated with experienced. Some of facilities are government employees.
Dislikes
- Playing groud is not available in college. There are only 3 employees in fee department it should be increased.
- Campus life is not better in terms of sports activities because of not availablity of ground.
Remarks :
The education and the professors my department are very highly experienced are the factors that I chooses this college. Placement are very good many mnc like ultratech, l&tb are recruiters of my college. Wbjee is the entrance exam which I appeared to take the admission. You have to secure good rank to get admission in msit. Minimum 60 percent required in pcm in 12th standard. Wbjee is a tough exam but if your basic are clear then you can easily secure good rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen btec in civil engineering in this college because of the faculties and placement record of the department. Placement from this course is much better than we expect. Facilities of my department are highly qualified such as PhD holder and many experienced professor. Term exams are conducted by the university of makaut and it is not much difficult. Fee hiked in past few years of around 20 thousand and overall fee for cost to study for btec in civil engineering is 480000. There are many scholarships that are provided by the college even there are office and employees for scholarship.
Internships Opportunities :
No I don't opted for any internship. Many internships are provided in startup companies and cognizant from college. Cognizant provide stipend and some of core companies also provide stipend for Internship.
Placement Experience :
Placement are very good and placement cell brings mnc's in college like Infosys, cognizant and many good companies. Minimum 6.5 cgpa required for eligibility of placement . I will go for higher studies.
Campus Life :
Campus is not big but you can enjoy your college life because of canteens and indor and outdoor sports facilities. Many fest are organised by the college like Aloha, paridhi and msl they are conducted accordingly with session, most of the fest are organised in April and may. All books are available related to coarse. Yuva and Megatron are the cub of college which organises activities. Hostel in unofficially linked with college. Hostel is not in college premises it is situated about 500 meter from college. Food provided by the hostel is hygenic and routine of mess is strictly followed by management.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
