- just the campus life is great and teachers are friendly and helpful
- many opportunities for inter collage sports tournament.
Dislikes
- the infrastructure of the collage is not so good the bathrooms are dirty.
- the faculty teaching is not satisfying at all.
Remarks :
Pros: industry oriented curriculum , good placement record, more extracurriculur activities , good teachers Cons: no hostel facility, average teaching quality , not good infrastructure , admission process is through WBJEE and JEE mains.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always liked coding and technological related studies thsts why i have choosen the course. the teachers are highly qualified but the teaching quality is descent. The semester occurs every 4-6 months and there are many monthly tests too like the CA exams and the PCA exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently i dont know about the actual internship scenario cause as far i have heard from the seniors they mostly told that they we have to find our own internships collage does not provide on its own.
Placement Experience :
currently i dont know the eligibiliy criteria for placement. but many companies like PWC,JOHNSON & JOHNSON ,and many more .the highest offer was of 14lcs by pwc and the average placement was of 4-6lcs. Descent number of students were placed and many went for the higher studies. After my btech i will be pursuing MBA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
year wise fees is approx. 141000. Tuition fees of each sem is 60500 excluding extra charges like library fees , development fess. fees of my batchmates differs in other branches. many scholarships are being offered by the collage like SVMCM,MHRD and other scholarships from government of west bengal.
Campus Life :
This is the best collage in west bengal with a great collage life . it has fests every 2 months . it has departmental fests. talking about the availability of books the library has sufficient books . campus has a great sport culture . the GOT(Game of thrones) is the sport event which has wide variety of sports. NSS cell is very active in the collage .
Hostel Facilities :
the collage does not have its own hostel facility but you will surely get hostels , flats and pg nearby. the hostel i stay is 1.2km away from collage. anyone can afford the hostel service its just 5k with food included. i live in basundhara colony in chingrighata.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
