There is a direct admission process also after all rounds of counselling vacant seats are filled with the students who have higher marks in class 12th.
Computer science engineering is a very good choice in this college as the faculties of this course are helpful and student friendly. Some of them listen yours all kind of problems and help you to get out of it. The curriculum of computer science is too old and for placement you need to study extra from other sources.
As I am in my second year so I haven't opted for any internship. To get internship here in this college depends on students if they want to take internship then apply on your own otherwise college is not going to provide any kind of internship.
The placement in this college depends on only and only you.The college doesn't give a shit to provide placement. If you have enough skills then you can get placement with packages like 3 lpa 4lpa max it depends on your ability.
Yearly the total fees of this college is 74200 including all charges . If anyone opts for Hostel then yearly he or she needs to pay Rs 10800 (excluding mess fees). Mess charges vary from person to person as there is a meal wise charge. The total fees for complete course without taking hostel is Rs 296800.The fees does not increases yearly.
The campus life is not great here compared to other engineering colleges as the college area is small but yes you can make friends and have gossip in college ground or go outside of the college to taste som delicious foods and also you can go to zoo, park, Bardhaman University campus to enjoy and spend some quality time. There are only few clubs like coding clubs, photography club, and sports club, you can join any of them or you can make your own club and add others as a member. The infrastructure of the college is old and vintage but the college authority don't give a shit to maintain it.
In first year if you opt for Hostel then you need to live 4 kilometres away from the college because the first year banobas hostel is located in barabazar area. From second year you need to change your hostel and then you will be provided by room in campus hostel. The food in the mess is average and you have to give meal wise payment. When you will take admission you will be given a form to fill for hostel and through the college website also you can fill the form. The rooms you will get depends on your luck, some room conditions are average and some of them are below average.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
