Remarks :
I was admitted to the college through the state joint entrance exam that is WBJEE and after that I went for the WBJEE counselling process after that I got admission in this college in the Department of ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the ECE department because I was passionate about electronics and automation. All the faculties are well qualified with a minimum degree of PHD expected the few contractual faculties from the general basics science and humanities department. Exam duration is good and all the semester exams and sem ex are according to the academic calendar it might delayed for internal reasons such as college fest or any official reasons. When I was admitted to this college the semester fees were around 32100 excluding the hostel fees but later it was increased by 5000 that is now the semester fee we the batch 2021-2025 is paying 37100. if there will be a fee hike during the ongoing year it will be mentioned that the fees may change in the fee structure given by the college. In our college, you can get an education loan or may get a seat as TWF then your fees will be less than 10000. Or you can apply for the government scholarships.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done an internship on ROBOTICS at Kaday space technology Pvt Ltd, And IOT and automation internship from Pentech Pro Lab Pvt Ltd. I was offered an IOT Internship from ROBOMANTHAN PVT LTD in the Siliguri office with a stipend of 6000 but due to the semester exams I couldn't join the company
Placement Experience :
For the placement you must have skills and project and theoretical and practical knowledge otherwise you will not get placed. The average package depends on the department you are studying in it was approx 20000 lpa
Campus Life :
Last year in 2023 fest was organised in May and the name of the fest was WALTZ 2K23. there are clubs and program you can easily participate in. And football tournaments and cricket tournaments are well organised and sports are also organised by the college. there are many social clubs run in the college by the students. Hostel life if good and well experienced full of masti, food sometimes good and sometimes below average. After taking admission you can easily apply for the hostel and you will get it. It costs around 5400 per semester.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
