Likes
- I like most about the college is our faculty and how friendly they are with us. Not only in the college but also after college, we play cricket together after college and take bus and train together also.
- I also like the games room and the gym in our college. Many games are there like pool table, table tennis, carrom etc.
Dislikes
- I don't like about the college campuses. It is not big like other college.
Remarks :
I choose this college because it is the best private college in west Bengal and in west Bengal it ranked after Jadavpur University. The labs and facultys are very good at their work but one restriction is our campus area, though it is in the heart of saltlake sector 5 so the campus of our college is not so big. I give the WBJEE in 2021 and get a rank of 3875 in it and registered for counciling in WBJEE and choose this college. It is an online process and applicant has to pay rs. 5000 for seat reservation through this process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am interested in electronics and satalite communication so I choose this course. Tthe major of faculty members are had their PhD form IITs and their approach to teaching is very unique. There are 2 mid semester exams and the difficulty level is medium and in semester exams the difficulty level Is medium to hard.
Placement Experience :
There is a good placement record in our college. More or less everyone got placed in campasing. The average package is 5 lpa and Highest is 25lpa. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Infosys etc. are came to recruit freshers form our college every year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee is 140000 per year and there is a scholarship according to students academic performance. The fees of complete cource is 560000 + the exam fees rs. 1200 per semester. There is no other fee in the college. There some seat are reserved for EWS students and Management quota. For management quota the admission fee is 1500000 and tution fee is same as ours. In the scholarship the total amount of tution fee is covered.And there is no fee increasing per semester, tution fee is fixed
Campus Life :
Every year there are many tech fests are organised by the students clubs and teachers in our college like Innovation, Bengal E Summit etc. For our department we the head of IEEE student chapters of our college and members and all faculty co-ordinators are organised a tech fest called Sytron. Aprt form this the cultural fest, freshers etc. are organised in every year, and conference and other tolks are organised regularly. There is plenty of books and journals in the library any student can borrow 7 of them at a time. There is a sports room a yoga room and a 2 gyms in our college. There are many cultural clubs in the college like drama club, dancing club etc.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
