It is a good value for money to study in this college as it provides with best placement among all the private B-schools among the state . If you want to take admission you can come by jee mains, wbjee or iemjee(which is taken by college).
Faculties are always helpful and tries to give their students best of their knowledge. Most of our faculties belong from the prestigious B-schools all around the country . Faculties help us with research paper, etc.
I am currently in 2nd year of my course and didnot opt for any internship yet . College always encourage students to opt for internships so that it will help ones resume and make it helpful for students to get jobs .
During admission we need to pay extra fees which increases by 5k-10k every year. After that sem fees increases 10k every year. For example, I took admission in 2023 by paying 110000 and my fees is 85,000/sem then the 2024 batch that took admission by paying 1,20,000 and there fees is 95000/sem. Hostel fees(2023)- 1,00,000 Hostel fees(2024)-1,05,000 For 2025 it is also expected to increase by 5k or more. I am a general quota student and I do not have any scholarship. If any of you opt for scholarship then the fees will be wavered according to the scholarship.
Campus life is good with different types of club present where one can take part and slowly get accustomed with club rules and eventually hosting events for the club to being a secretary of the club Well , one can find great friends or great life partner from the campus as per their luck .
Hostel rooms are good with maximum rooms having attached bathroom. All rooms are double bed sharing. Hostel foods are average. Food is served in buffet system and hygiene is well maintained. Hostel have a strict principal of getting in by 7pm and are well protected by CCTV and security guards.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
