Remarks :
I choose this college beacuse of one of my senior. He graduated from this college. To get admission in this college students have to give exams like WBJEE or JEE. The last year cutoff was like 40000. Overall the college is best for academics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Now in current era all companies are heading towards artificial intilligence so this branch has high demand in market. The college faculties are highly qualified. Almost all are graduated or mastered from IIT or NIT. Their teaching method is superb. There are 4 internals and semester exam in each semester. Exam papers are very standerd.
Placement Experience :
Many companies visit our college for placement like TCS, wipro, cognizent, accenture and many more. Elogible criterias are different for each company. But no backlog students are allowed for placement. Higest package is about 40 Lpa. Average package of this college is Rs 450000 Lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first year the fees is around Rs 174000. For second year fees is Rs 149000. For third year the fees required Rs 151000 and for fourth year the fees is Rs 153000. No other extra fees are required. I don't get any scholarship so i am not aware of it.
Campus Life :
This college has a beautiful ragging free campus. Various kinds of fests are organised in our college like annual fest, tech fest, code fest, cultural fest etc. The sports club of our college organise various types of sports where both students and faculty participate. All the clubs in our college run by students. This college has a central library and a digital library. In library around 4000 books are available.
Hostel Facilities :
This college has a demerit that is there is no hostel facility for students. Students have to stay nearby flat, PGs or private hostel. Most of the students prefer private hostel because of good quality of food and security for students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
