A eye-opening review about my college
Remarks :
I have given (wbjee exam) west Bengal joint entrance examination back in 2021 and I scored a very decent score in the wbjee exam and through counselling I got admission in this college. The college is very excellent i was allotted this college in the first round only. The main motive of me to join this college was that it is financially good for me to afford and a very reputed college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is divided into 8 sections means 8 semester and overall, we have to study 40 theory subjects and 40 practical subjects over a period of 4 years. The faculties are excellent and there way of teaching is excellent. All the faculties are either MTech or Ph.D. holders. The Number of exams in a year is actually too much like we have to give 5 theory exams in a semester and 3 practical exams in semester adding up to 16 exams in a span of 10 months. The difficulty level of exam will be considered extreme as the exam's questions are very tough even for the toppers.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Tuition fess of all semesters will add up to 3.7 lakhs and there is no scholarship for students who come from jharkhand as students from bihar avail the facilities of drcc and west bengal students avail the facility of drcc and student credit. Vivekananda scholarship and everything. Very good scholarship programs are there for west Bengal students. There are so many scholarships specially for females.
Campus Life :
The college campus life is very good. It has all type of sports ground like cricket ground, football ground, basketball court and volleyball court. Now talking about the name of test and month in which they are conducted are so for odd semester the classes usually start in the month of July and the first exam i,e. Continuous Assessment 1 starts in August itself then we have continous assessment 2 which happens in the month of September and then we have another exam in the month september itself which is practical assessment 1. After that we have month october so if we have durga puj then sometimes the continous examination 3 happens before puja or after puja then we have ca4 in november and pca2 in novvember . After that in the month of december we re left with external that is practical external in dece,ber and theory external in december .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
