- Very good campus...the faculties, students, staffs all are very good well behaved and friendly
- So many events organised on weekly basis
Dislikes
- I basically don't dislike anything but there is problem of attendance. You have to satisfy the 85 % attendance criteria
- And the next is there weekly exam but it is good and bad in same way because they add this marks in the final and if you failed to attend any of the exam you marks decrease in finals.
Remarks :
I've given wbjee and secured a cutoff the cutoff was very high that year that is 2023. And I easily get into the college thorough counselling. My brother was already from that college so he knows that this college is good
Course Curriculum Overview :
I've wanted to do this course from my childhood it was my childhood dream and fortunately I found a very good college to peruse with it.. the faculties are very friendly very cooperative very understanding.
Internships Opportunities :
No I'm currently in 2nd year the intership offered from 3rd year and with a nice stipend . If you have ability and you are sure that you are capable to work now then you can go for the intership anytime
Placement Experience :
The placement of CSE branch is 90% . The maximum number of students get placed and with a very nice package. The average package per year is 4LPA and the highest package is 21LPA. IT'S totally depends on your ability
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I've paid 80000 at the time of admission and 70000-80000 per semester. There is an extra 3000 development fees per year and the exam fees per semester is 1200. There are alot of fees mentioned over year but the total is 50000 for this 4 year course
Campus Life :
In a months there is more than 2 events take place. There is a regular games turnament which focuses on tour physical health as well. Books are provided and this is not on cost. But you don't even need to go through the books because faculties will .
Hostel Facilities :
Good infrastructure...nice lecture rooms provided with AC near and clean environment. Labs , big campus, 2 canteens . Clean hostels beds and guard are provided for each boys and girls hostels . Strictly taking care of wards

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
