Remarks :
The admission was from WBJEE and in the counselling I got this college . The college is small but friendly , the prof. are also good , there is a common room in the college and playing ground and mentors
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because the placement is good for this course and the mentor are also very good, they are much qualified among other prof. and the exams are also held in a best way ,the paper are easy and prof. are also supportive.
Internships Opportunities :
no internship was given by the college u have to search for ur own. If you are good student u should not believe in college internships , u can grab if you have good skill sets and most important is good communication.
Placement Experience :
If no campus is there in placement then one can go for off campus and reach other companies for this after reaching ur seniors also is very good way to grab a job likewise sometimes college also provides placment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The overall fee in BIT kolkata is 4,70,000 in entire year . In the first semester you have to give nearly 68,000 and in the second sem it was 47000. Then in the 3rd and 4th sem it was 45,000 and last year it was nearly 42,000 and 44,000 respectively. Also there was TFW also available so they have to give 5k per sem as compared to other students.
Campus Life :
Life in college is damm good . we use to have a cultural fest called Impulse and tech fest called Bits to Byte which held in the month of june , its was remarking fest with vibrating environment and sports event also held here like cricket and football.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel for college student but you can have Pg nearby in which u can stay the PG is good and budget friendly in this PG which is nearly 6k per month but some PG have bad food. so you can ask which pg to visit.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
