- The College Infrastructure is really good all the toilets and classrooms are clean and hygiene is good.
- The faculty is very helpful about any problem.
Dislikes
- The campus is small so not much of a great campus life.
- Only 1 canteen is there which is not that good.
Remarks :
You can get direct admission after completing class 12th in any brand except CSE because, for the CSE branch, you need to have a decent rank in WBJEE or JEE. One of my relatives recommended this college, no written test is required, all you need is official documents. There is no interview process. The staff and teachers are very good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I am pursuing which is B.Tech in IT is the 2nd best branch in this college after CSE. The course curriculum goes with the MAKAUT syllabus and exam pattern. The faculty members are very experienced and helpful. The tuition fee is around 50000 and for each semester you will have to pay 1200 for MAKAUT registration and 5000 rupees for Uniform.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently, I am in 1st year and have gotten a lot of internship opportunities I might get into after my 2nd-semester examination. In our college group, we get a lot of links regarding internships from lots of Service and Product-based companies.
Placement Experience :
The campus has an average package of 4 LPA and the highest is 12 LPA. There are a lot of Job and internship opportunities for the deserving ones. The head of the Placement and Recruitment Cell is a very friendly person.
Campus Life :
The campus life is not that great because it is a small campus. It has two buildings the first one is mainly for 1st Year students and the main or 2nd building is for other year students. I live in Howrah around 30km away from College and I come to college by Bike.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
