- Our campus is pretty good and big. We have a big library. The exam timetable was very good.
- College infrastructure is very good. Also there is some good faculties. Especially our practical labs ar very good . You will got windows 11 in every lab.
Dislikes
- Faculties are worst. They only need your attendance. Zero knowledge.
- No internship opportunities is there. We have to do it ourselves in elsewhere and we have to pay 4000-5000 rupees for internship.
Remarks :
Firstly i didn't face any group discussion, interviews or written test for admission. The main factors that made me choose this college are.... Firstly my JEE rank was little bit low so i didn't get any govt. Clg. In 2022 the CSE fees of every private college is arround 4 lakh at that time. But the other colleges near me are taking donation... which very very high...and I can't afford it. So i choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course Curriculum and academics are very average and backdated. The current things and programming languages which are mainly used now in companies is not there in our syllabus. That atlast its our faculties which are the worst than all. They has no knowledge they have not any eligible degrees. The also Learn the topic from youtube videos in our lab and then , they started to get our classes.
Internships Opportunities :
Littrely no internship opportunities is available in my college. One kind of online shit called AICTE virtual internship is there, but faculties are very irresponsible. And in 3rd or 4 th year they asked for mandatory internship certificate but never give any opportunity for internship.
Placement Experience :
In 2020 to 2022 (lockdown period) placement was pretty decent. But nowdays it becomes worst. Only sales companies are coming and TPO team is forcing us to take sales job. Some start-up companies came 2-3 times. Other than that nothing. And talking for internship, faculties are not known what is the meaning of internship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The average fees per semester is nearly 45000/- and the total fees is 3,70,000. But nowdays,(2025) the fees will increase. The total fees of 4 years is now arround 6,00,000. It means per semester fees is now arround 70,000. And you will get SVMCM scholarship. Which will give you 60,000 per year.
Campus Life :
Life is campus is pretty good though. And our campus has a big library. And nowdays we have smart classrooms. We have to maintain our proper dress code in our campus. The campus is totally, totally raging free. Hostels are very good. We celebrate annual sports in December last ...called ATHLEKA. And our cultural fest in march. Also celebrated our foundation day in September. There ar 4-5 clubs in our college. Robonix, Codevision, Google cloud developer,NSS.

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
