- Our college infrastructure was so much well maintained and we were having 6 canteens in our campus.
- The faculty members of our college was very wise and of friendly nature.
Dislikes
- There is nothing about our college which I dislike.
- One thing which I don't like about our college was the price of the food in our canteen. Because the canteen was of Taj group, the price was little bit high according to me.
Remarks :
The first factor was the ambience of the college. It was so well organised that you will find everything things which are needed in a college. Our college was also known for using the recycle things to decorate the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members of our college was not like a teacher, there were like our friends or like our brothers or sisters. They were so friendly and polite that you will never feel bore in there classes.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I've not opted any internship or job because I have to opt for my higher education. Thats why I have not applied or filled the form for any internship or job. We were getting lots of internship opportunity but not opted.
Placement Experience :
Our college had tied up with various MNC and Indian companies like Infosys, Reliance, PS Group. And internship was also provided to us in our last year. Various big firm companies and small firm companies was giving opportunity for internship.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My total course fee was 4,10,000. I've paid 68,000 per semesters. Yes there was a scholarship for those people who have scored 75% or above in there 10th board. No extra charges were charged but the college was strict for his attendance policy. Your attendance must have to be above 75% or otherwise you have to pay a fine of rupees 500 for each percentage.
Campus Life :
In every month, our college use to organise various kinds of events, fests, or inter college sports competition. Our college was also recognised for a event whose name was Manegedia. In this event, students from different colleges participate in this event.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college don't provide any hostel facilities but they do have PG facilities for the boys and girls. I was staying in my personal flat but the PG was also great. The rent of that PG on our time was 6500, per year in which 2 meal were included.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
