- One of the best faculty members who are often called as mentals as a not only teachers teachers but also helps in the overall growth of the students.
Dislikes
- Nothing much to dislike about the college but somethings are obviously there which would be better if someone goes an experience
- As I said bad things cannot be reviewed so better to visit an experience.
Remarks :
One of the very colleges in Kolkata with the best in class facilities all in terms of education as well as co curricular activities with the best faculty members and also most modern technology is in the classroom as well as the whole campus.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academic is very progressive and the mentors a great, there will be continuous class assessments throughout the semesters and semesters will be held once in 6 month apart from that there are class test as well as various project to work on an excellent life
Internships Opportunities :
There are many companies which offers internships to the students, naming the companies would be on un professional but there are media companies other than that there are companies from the news and TV field as well and also for the PR and social media.
Placement Experience :
The placements always depends on the ability and the skill set of the students but college provides excellent placement opportunities for the students to crack other than that internships are available for the students to learn a lot in the field they want to work.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure structure is 50000/- of admission fees along with that the fees is divided in 6th semesters . Also there are provisions for special students who are not able to pay the high fees, there are programs where they can get discounts on their fees and also a system of scholarship is also present where the percentage of Mark decide the scholarship amount.
Campus Life :
The campus is awesome with a hell lord of Co curricular activities with one or the other event going on everyday other than that there are turf and basketball ground for the students to play and also auditoriums where events takes place for the overall growth of the students.
Hostel Facilities :
As it is a Jain College the food available there is v Vegetarian but the quality and the price are both intact where the quality is great in terms of college and is also very much affordable. Other than the college canteen there are other brands who put up the stalls from the places one can have food.

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Placement Experience :
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
