- The environment of the campus is too good to be expressed by words. If you are book lover this is your place, cause the campus is made with books literally.
- The id card processing and everything is very fast. The food are also great and clean .
Dislikes
- 1st The whole college is very compact and you will need time to get used to the hallway and rooms.
- 2nd is the the computer provided to the 1st year students is too old and need to be updated. Like the gpu provided to 1st year is gt 710 , gt 730 and the run latest softwares needed in the course atleast need rtx 20 series gpu to handle so the gpu needed to be upgraded . Other than that I have no issue till now.
Remarks :
I have given CET , though merit base addmission is also available, at my course 50 % cut off is needed in 12th boards and achieving any rank in cet is ok and cet is quite easy so no need to worry, and to be honest the environment here is awesome and very friendly people. Like in a month it will feel like 2nd home. Though you have to balance your studies and social life.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As for my course I literally love it. The teachers here are awesome like they will help you any time when you will reach out but you have to do the work in time then only they will help you for everything study or work related, and sometimes you will also get to watch movies.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not, as i currently in first year but people in 2 year like 4 sem actually start getting internships like paid internship. and depending on your work your will get intership not on your marks .
Placement Experience :
As for our course, our portfolio matters more than our degree and people are getting good job after completing this course here though the starting is only 4.5 LPA and as our senior gets experience in the industry the salary also increase. But there is one thing, was advised by my senior to improve my work and try to do freelance work experience it's much better than doing a job in a company
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I'm in the evening batch so my full course fee is 376666 but upcoming batch might see a big change in the fee structure. And here 50000 is the admission fees and other 326666 is the course fee so think according to it.
Campus Life :
There are several fest conducted throughout the 4 year course and it happens non stop. The campus is made of books so there is no problem of not finding the book but you will struggle to find a certain book. Several sports and extracurricular activities are like for in door games there are 8ball pool , table tennis and many more and as for out door games there are busket ball, football ( there is on roof turf ) and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facility available in here as the campus is very small and compact there is no hostel through as the increasing no of students they should add a hostel in there campus, it would be great.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
