- Internal Exam Schedule is very hectic, as sometimes 3 subjects exam are put together
- jr-sr Relationship, as we have a very strict regulations,rarely seniors are allowed to interact with the jr.
Remarks :
You have to Crack the WBJEE with a rank under 10000 ,to take admission for this course. And one can also take admission by consulting the Management. And one have to Pass the 12th Exam or must have a Diploma for Lateral Entry. A good grip of Physics ,chemistry is required and most importantly in Mathematics to crack the WBJEE where 50% of Marks are based on maths and 50% from Physics and Chem.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of The faculties have Doctorates and have a great experience in their respective subjects . But the Non-Tech Subjects are not given that much priority, which depends on the faculty who teaches. Overall a great environment for Academics and other personal development.
Internships Opportunities :
Many Internship Oppurtunities are available, and AICTE based EDUSKILLS virtual intersnship is also provided to every students. Several Companies visit the college to provide internships for students in 4th Year.
Placement Experience :
Every Year several MNC's visit the college and many students get placed, among all the departments IT and CSE have a great success rate every year, having an avg. of 9LPA and highest as 1.1 cr per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The Fees was 550000 for the full course in 2022 and its increasing every year.And Yes there are scholarships available like Swami Vivekananda which provides a support of 60000 per annum offered by WB govt. and also WB credit Card Scheme is also available with that. There are also Discounts available for EWS students(Tution Fee Waiver) and Techno India Group Students.
Campus Life :
There are Fests almost Every Year in a grand way, artists from Bollywood and Tollywood , mostly perform in those fests, apart from that many Tech-Fests are also organised.And a Student do not have to but any books,most of the books are available in the library ,the Laboratories have a high quality of COmputers making it very halpful for the CS related Streams.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
